Questa casa offre una classica esperienza di Fire Island con la possibilità di allontanarsi dal rumore e dal trambusto della vita quotidiana. La casa è un rifugio rilassante e sereno, che dista solo quattro case dalla bellissima spiaggia di sabbia. Torna da una giornata godendoti la zona e goditi un piacevole pasto cucinato in casa preparato nella cucina completa e rilassati con un film o un gioco da tavolo. Svegliarsi la mattina per un caffè sul ponte e andare in bicicletta a disposizione per la spiaggia o ritrovo locale.

Dai un'occhiata a Fire Island SUP Co. - uno sportello unico per lezioni di sport acquatici e noleggio parapendio, paddleboard e tubi. Trascorri una calda giornata estiva nella Sunken Forest, che si trova a circa due miglia a est, dove puoi goderti un po 'di ombra e fare una passeggiata guidata dagli ranger tra gli alberi, e trascorrere una serata a fare il pieno di pesce fresco all'Isola Sirena. Dopo una splendida giornata trascorsa sulla sabbia, dopo il tramonto puoi passeggiare fino al ristorante Hideaway per cenare e bere qualcosa sulla baia.

Amazing family getaway house

The house/location was perfect for a weekend getaway for my family! Quick bike ride to the main town area and was super clean and beds were very comfortable. Definitely would stay again!

Fire Island is a Special Place

Coming from California we so love the laid back vibe of Ocean Bay Park. Everything is close by and no cars! The house was perfect for our annual trip. Lots of towels, comfy beds, a beautiful kitchen for fixing family dinners and breakfast in. Would definitely rent again.

Happiness at Huron Hideaway

We absolutely loved our stay at huron hideaway! The house was spotless upon our arrival, the decor was beautiful and we felt relaxed and right at home the minute we stepped in. The proximity to the beach was perfect!! We absolutely will be back!!

Overall fantastic stay. It could be a bit cleaner. We had sand in the beds and glasses/dishes were partly dirty. But the house is fantastic. Modern and close to the beach.

This is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for an upscale, updated yet homey quaint cottage. With all the brand new appliances and amenities and crisp linens only steps from the ocean, we could not ask for more. It even had new a/c and heating individual wall units in each bedroom and the main living area. The outdoor shower had amazing water pressure and was a little slice of heaven after a long day at the ocean/beach. It was a perfect stay for our little family get away!

Huron hideaway was a great getaway

I had a wonderful time on Ocean Bay Park with my college children. A beautiful beautiful couple of days before everyone to do their own things. The house was perfectly located not too far from the ferry and very close to the beach. The local vaCasa team at Fire Island was very attentive. Cassie made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, even helping us get another bike! Thanks Vacasa- we will definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect home

This home is perfect!! I could seriously live here forever!!! 3 houses from the beach and so well equipped!!! Tons of towels, blankets, complimentary soaps, shampoo, detergent, beach chairs, toys - I could keep going. It’s a dream home!! The style is beautiful - so much space to hang out outside and inside. The outdoor shower was my favorite!! The sun was beating in, you could see the sky and you could hear the waves. Amazing!!!!! We’ll be back!!!!!!

Beautiful House

The home exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated, very very clean, great beds and linens, roomier than expected. The only issue was not with the house, but with the management company. They gave the wrong code to enter and we had to wait for the on site manager to give us the code. The next day they gave the wrong for bike locks and we once again had to wait for the manager to come to fix the issue. Having updated and correct information provided should be high on Vacasa’s priority list. So the -1 star is for them. The house was a 5 star rental.

Ocean bay park

Great little beach cottage. Close to the beach. We had a wonderful time. A few things about the house that were disappointing, the deck was falling apart to the point that we were falling tru the week boards. I think the house should be ban from rentals until the deck is repaired. Some one could get hurt.

Great location, great home!

I recently stayed at this home with 2 adult couples. The home was very spacious and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The best thing about this home is the location! The home is literally 3 houses down from the beach! I would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again!

All you need for a Fire Island vacation

The house was better than pictured in the online photos which left us pleasantly surprised! We look forward to returning to this home for a future trip. OBP is narrow so you really cannot get a bad location even if you are bayside, but this house is perfectly situated 4 houses from the beach, and away from any crowds that come to the beach 5 blocks away closer to the ferry street. Being so close to the beach, we took advantage and enjoyed it at all hours of the day throughout the week for sunrise, sunset, morning jogs, and stargazing at night. A 6 minute walk from the ferry, this was also very convenient for us and for any visitors that came just for the day. The house had everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, linens, sunscreen, bugspray, bikes, and a wagon for lugging luggage and groceries from the market. The washer and dryer allowed us to pack light, and clothes pins and a clothing line were set up in the back to hang towels and bathing suits. Everything the house provided allowed us to pack for our full week beach vacation with just one bag each, which was very convenient! We cooked almost every night using the well stocked kitchen, which had all the cookware we needed, as well as a coffee maker, blender, pitchers, and nice stemware for margaritas and wine. We used the outdoor shower every day. We loved the many sitting nooks in the house including the outdoor hammock area, the side porch, the indoor living room and dining room. The WiFi was strong even when multiple people were connected, which is rare in Fire Island homes. The house is simple and nicely decorated with a beachy/boho vibe with wicker furniture. It is nothing fancy or modern, but it was exactly what we were looking for and each guest that came by fell equally in love with its charm. The house could probably use some very minor updates like a paint job on some of the walls, solid cleaning of the grill, and repair some holes in screens that allowed mosquitos to get in. Overall it was a magical week and we can’t wait to visit again.

A very pleasant home

Excellent location, 30 yards to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped. Plenty of towels. The deck and dining room were perfect for us. OBP very quiet and laid back. One mile walk to Ocean Beach where there is plenty of action with bars, restaurants and shopping. My family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you.
