Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. “The Angel was a spur of tge moment stay, while visiting a customer. This is a natural trust area, lots of history in Lacock. The propery is as close to original as possible, very old world. Rooms are sympathetically updated, to include en-suite bathroom. Accessed via cobble streets, the smell of coal fires, sound of horses and laughter. Nostalgic to say the least. “We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. ”
