“Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. I stayed here one night to visit the near by Cotswold villages, like Castle Combe, which was only half an hour away. If the windows could be upgraded and...

“Room was good, bed comfy, shower worked well. It’s in the middle of town so there is some noise, especially on a Saturday night, but to be expected. Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. “A perfect room for visiting Bath. The room was very large well decorated and very comfortable. The host Richard was a Joy very attentive to any of our needs and full of interesting stories. Breakfast in the dining room was something special complete with a spectacular dumb waiter. We will certainly be back!”

“I've stayed at the hotel multiple times and never had a problem until Wednesday 15th July. The building is obviously old so limited to what they can do, but second floors rooms in peak summer are like pizza ovens. The small ancient fan is not enough and I barely slept.”

“The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very nice. We used the pool and jacuzzi which we found to be well maintained and as we would have wanted. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner although the service at breakfast was disappointing as our coffee was forgotten. All in all a very pleasant stay (our two sons were playing in the PGA golf competition) and the course was beautiful.”
