“Great staff and service throughout the stay. The location was very convenient and the hotel was generally quiet, allowing for good rest at night. Breakfast was definitely the highlight, with a wide variety and very good quality. The only downside was the room: it felt a bit dark and the bathroom tended to flood while taking a shower. “The Ameswell is a wonderful hotel with all the amenities for a hotel its size and class and then some. Hotel is impeccably clean, from the outside grounds, the common seating areas, the restaurants, and the room itself. We were greeted by a warm staff and check-in was flawless without a wait. The room is well equipped with a small refrigerator with room to store your drinks/food. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and the walk-in shower had a rainfall shower head. “We only booked for a night because of our visit to UC Berkeley and it was an amazing stay! The rooms were very clean and organized. Staff were nice and they welcomed us with waters.
