“Everything was fine, clean, etc., except that there were a LOT of carpenter ants in the room. I talked with the property manager, while I was there. I hope they do something about that. Otherwise, our stay was nice.”

Front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff were very friendly, helpful and professional with the guests. In-house restaurant menu for breakfast and dinner was good and the Chef was able to prepare dishes to suit our dietary requirements. However, more vegetarian options will be preferred. “The room was clean and on the small side. It is situated across the street from Saranac Lake. We liked the fact that they had areas to sit outside the rooms and also a couple gazebos . It was quiet and a great place to relax after an active day.”

“Every detail was considered at Lake Placid Stagecoach. Our suite was perfect, comfortable, spacious yet cozy. Kelly and team thought of everything. “The place was very accessible to shopping and tourist areas like High Falls Gorge and Whiteface Mountain. Breakfast was good. The only thing we didn’t like was the shower since the water from there flows right into the toilet. No clearcut divided except for the curtains. Other than that, our stay was great.”

“It has some sort of hostel feeling (common kitchen, pit fire area, barbecues, board games) with lovely private rooms. Bedding could be improved but we still would highly recommend it.”
