“Everything was fine, clean, etc., except that there were a LOT of carpenter ants in the room. I talked with the property manager, while I was there. I hope they do something about that. Otherwise, our stay was nice.”

Front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff were very friendly, helpful and professional with the guests. In-house restaurant menu for breakfast and dinner was good and the Chef was able to prepare dishes to suit our dietary requirements. However, more vegetarian options will be preferred. “The room was clean and on the small side. It is situated across the street from Saranac Lake. We liked the fact that they had areas to sit outside the rooms and also a couple gazebos . It was quiet and a great place to relax after an active day.”

“Every detail was considered at Lake Placid Stagecoach. Our suite was perfect, comfortable, spacious yet cozy. Kelly and team thought of everything. Also, the service, food and cocktails at the restaurant was so so good. Make sure to make reservations to secure your spot for a great dinner experience!”

“It has some sort of hostel feeling (common kitchen, pit fire area, barbecues, board games) with lovely private rooms. Bedding could be improved but we still would highly recommend it.”

“The sofabed was different from anything we used before and took a bit of figuring out. Instructions (preferably with images) would have been helpful. Nice and quiet. Conveniently located to the market, the town, and everything we needed.”

“The place was very accessible to shopping and tourist areas like High Falls Gorge and Whiteface Mountain. Breakfast was good. The only thing we didn’t like was the shower since the water from there flows right into the toilet. No clearcut divided except for the curtains. Other than that, our stay was great.”

“We had a great stay here. The room was perfectly adequate and clean. Lake Placid has so many things to see and do, we really just used the room for sleeping. The pool and canoe equipment were a great bonus. The location is quiet but it’s just a 10 minute walk to the main streets. Parking was a little tight but we managed. We would definitely stay here again.”
