“I love the old school Uconn pride vibe of the hotel especially the giant Jonathan the husky as you enter the main door. I love Graduate storrs hotel and I wouldnt want it any other way. ❤️”

“Stayed just for a few hours. Couldn't get the TV to work, plus the other people in the rooms next to me had kids running up and down the stairs and being loud in the hallways. The bed was a vast improvement from last time. It was worth it for a few hours stay and and a good nap. I will return in the future.”

“Good facility, needs remodeling and upgrade, but clean and staffed well. The hotel is directly off the highway, and walking distance to 4 or 5 good restaurants, so a very convenient stop for a traveler to Hartford or surrounding suburbs.”

“For just sleeping it was ok, but my wife said she would not stay there again. Dust and hair on sheets, made us question if the room was cleaned. Wall paper peeling on walls inside and outsidr room in hallways. Strong cigarette smell in common srea lobby. The outside side doors always unlocked. Desk furniture was missing drawers. Hotel was in rough shape. It was very economical, and served its purpose as a place close to UCONN to see my daughters graduation, but wouldn’t make cacation...

“The staff was great. The room was sparse. I was on the first floor at my request. Outside our window for 2 days was trash. I asked them to remove it on the third day. They were very apologetic and explained they had somebody out sick So I totally understood. We had our dog with us, and they made us very comfortable with having him there. Nice people just a very average hotel.”

“A few things to note: first, the room we stayed in is typically $109 a night- they marked it up to $400 over graduation weekend. This is not a $400/night property. There is no elevator to the second floor- just a full flight of stairs and long hallways. The hallways also had a very strong odor. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were cold and minimal- cereal, yogurt, and pastries. There were no hot food and very limited protein options.”

“Don’t book if you are bringing a pet and don’t want to pay $150 pet fee. We stayed one night and had paid almost $200. When booking on Expedia it said NOTHING about a pet fee (also it never had you say you were bringing a pet) so to be blindsided with a fee that was only $45 less than we had already paid. Basically we paid double what we expected. What a scam…I am all about the fee if informed up front…not when you have already arrived and have no choice. That amount is also insane for one...
