“While the staff were very friendly and accommodating, my overall experience was disappointing. Upon collecting the keys, I walked into reception and was immediately met with a strong curry odor, which was quite unpleasant. Unfortunately, my room was located right next to reception, and the smell had permeated the space, making it difficult for me and my fellow travelers to relax. I had to sleep with the window open, which meant dealing with noise from passing pedestrians, and my companions...

“My wife & I were passing on our way to Melbourne to visit our daughter and her family and wanted to have a meal at Wheeler’s Seafood Resteraunt so what better place to stay than the Fairway Motor Inn. We also visited the Pambula/Merimbula Golf Club… very relaxing.”

“Didn't use the pool. The room didn't match the photos on internet. There were no inside table and chairs. The 2-seater couch was very uncomfortable - we were told it was all architect designed. We would NOT go back there again. Two fold up camping stools are NOT furniture for a suite, don't think an architect would have specified them. NOT GOOD NOT HAPPY”

“The check in was fast and easy. Lovey lady in the office (Sue). The very big room was spotless. Decor was very nice and fit for purpose . Water views from the private balcony which had table and chairs. Large flat screen TV. Bathroom was big and bright. Good lighting throughout. Grounds were well kept and gardens well looked adter. Plenty of parking. No noise from other rooms. Great place to stay.”

“Small dirty rooms and facilities, filthy carpet, stained dirty towels hung on string in bathroom for customers, flimsy lock on the door and a pungent chemical odour which smelled toxic. This motel needs to be inspected for health risks not promoted on Expedia.”

“We were driving from sydney to melbourne as a tourists. After one day driving and looking the beauties of coastal areas we stopped in the Hillcrest motor in. The owners of the motel are so kind and their indian Fiji cuisine is so good that i strongly advise for a stay.”

“Our room did not look anything like the photos on their website. False advertising to get you in. NO ONE is ever at reception. There is a number to ring and you get someone with screaming children in the back ground who are very hard to understand. You have to go to the motel next door to check in and out, and that reception is only manned after 2pm. Our toilet was leaking onto the floor - it felt like we had paid money to stay in a dirty public toilet. We asked for two beds and they had...
