“The house and grounds were very private. located overlooking a quiet lake. Although neighboring houses were in reasonably close proximity, the area was very quiet. The house was well stocked and comfortable for the two of us.. Opportunity was available for both indoor and outdoor dining. “We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. “Rebekkah's place is great. We were in town to visit my husband's uncle. This house is well located. It's very comfortable and it was very clean. There were all kinds of great, welcoming touches. Coffee, some breakfast items including farm fresh eggs - which my husband loves - and a well-stocked kitchen! The proximity to Bangor and the surrounding area is very good. We would definitely look forward to staying again if we were in the area. ”

“We loved our stay at the cottage! Joanne was very welcoming and accessible. The cottage is on a quiet road, with all windows looking out over beautiful natural wilderness where you can see deer roaming. Very peaceful and serene. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for an island getaway and is clean and well-maintained. It's also in a great location, very close to the town of Deer Isle and just a few minutes drive to Stonington. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back...

“This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. There was more than enough space for our family of three, and room for a few more if needed. The pond was great for swimming and taking out the canoe. The house was well appointed and lovingly maintained with just the necessities needed for our week long stay. “ Beautiful property! Stayed here with my 80 year old mom, 3 kids and a dog. Bunkhouse had everything we needed. The whole property is very well maintained and clean. The screened in porch was perfect for evening relaxation. The location right on the lake was exactly what we were looking for. Sunrise and sunset kayaking was absolutely heavenly. We saw family of Loons and Heron fishing by the shore. Highly recommend!”
