Lake Street Carriage House

La Lake Street Carriage House è una casa di trasporto del 1860 completamente rinnovata situata nel cuore di Picton, in Ontario, e ha appena ricevuto il premio costruttori 2016 della Prince Edward County per il miglior edificio residenziale.

Ottimo per famiglie, più amici e coppie in cerca di essere a pochi passi da tutti i ristoranti, negozi e teatri. Si trova a 10 minuti di auto dal Sandbanks Provincial Park e vicino a tutte le cantine, distillerie e birrifici artigianali della Contea. È anche a pochi passi dal Millennium Trail per coloro che amano fare jogging, camminare e andare in bicicletta. Se il golf è ciò che stai cercando, è a soli 5 minuti di auto dal Picton Golf & Country Club.

Arretrato dalla strada, la Carriage House offre lo spazio e la privacy per godersi il tempo libero dopo una lunga giornata di esplorazione di tutto ciò che la Contea ha da offrire. Una casa a tre piani con tre camere da letto che è stata rinnovata e restaurata per garantire che la storia dell'edificio sia stata mantenuta ovunque possibile, pur fornendo una destinazione che ti offra tutti i comfort che vorresti garantire che il tempo trascorso presso il la casa è il più piacevole e rilassante possibile.

Il piano principale è composto da un piano open space con cucina completa, una zona soggiorno con camino a gas, lavanderia, mezzo bagno, un ampio cortile privato recintato e una terrazza con vasca idromassaggio per 6 persone che può essere utilizzata tutto l'anno, barbecue e camino / riscaldatore a propano all'aperto.

Il secondo piano ha tre camere da letto; il master è molto spazioso con una zona salotto e dispone di un letto king size. La seconda camera offre una regina, e la terza camera offre due letti singoli. Include anche un bagno in 4 pezzi con vasca soaker e cabina doccia.

Circa 2. 5 ore da Toronto e Ottawa, 3. 5 ore da Montreal e si trova nel cuore di Picton, Ontario

Picton offre diverse opzioni per spostarsi, tra cui Taxi, servizi Limousine per tour del vino e noleggio biciclette (Bloomfield).

Great spot in the heart of Picton! We were a family of 5 with young kids who enjoyed the walkable distance to restaurants/shops while also being within 15 minutes of Sandbanks.

An amazing place to stay

This is a fantastic accommodation. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable & has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The location is also great as there are lots of restaurants you can walk to & lots of stores & wineries nearby. The hot tub is a lovely bonus! We certainly hope to return.

Great week in the county

This Carriage House was the best rental we have had in the County over the past 11 years at a fair price and excellent amenities. The kitchen and bedrooms are all well appointed. The beds are comfortable and it’s been nicely renovated. Very clean and inviting! Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful Carrige House!

Clean, spacious and quiet

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and very well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by how large it was! The photos don’t do it justice. It rained during one of the days of our stay, so we were able to take full advantage of the amenities and catch up on our laundry with the included washer and dryer :) My only wish would be to have hooks behind the doors and in the bathrooms to hang our wet bathing suits and towels. A drying rack would also have done the trick. Aside from the lack of hooks, everything was perfect.

Great Home

We were on a girls golf getaway. Very convenient location. Close to LCBO and restaurants. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Relaxing in the hot tub after golf was an added bonus. We all want to return next year.

Lovely home away from home

The property is lovely, everything you need is available for an enjoyable stay. Because the county is wine country taxi service needs to be *better*. My sisters in law and myself are in our 60’s and 70’s and we were unable to get a taxi service after dinner, we walked took us 45 min and I was nervous. It was 10:30 when we got back to the house. My one sister in law is unable to walk easily, it was challenging and frustrating. The property and house were 100%.

Beautiful Home

This home was amazing, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need/want. The beds were comfortable. Both the hot tub and outdoor fire table were lovely. The house is a great location, very close to the main strip in Picton. Overall, I have nothing negative to say, we were very happy with our visit and would 100% recommendation!

Practically Perfect

The property was lovely, spotless, well outfitted. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The hosts were amazingly welcoming and responsive. We suggest they improve the signage that marks the location as it was very difficult to see. Perhaps some shelves inside the closet of the second bedroom for folded clothes. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Great getaway!

Incredible stay

It is such a beautiful, charming home. A nice greeting card and a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival immediately made us feel welcome. This home is equipped with all necessities and more. Feeling home right from the start

Our family of five stayed in the Carriage house for a week. Everyone was pleased with the space and we felt home right away! It was very nice to be in the area of Picton and it gave us the opportunity to travel easily to the beaches and other towns around. We’re heading back to Québec city with great memories of our stay and we’ll definitely be back in the area… Probably again to the carriage house.

Absolutely perfect!

Charming, cozy, comfortable, exceptionally clean, open concept on main floor felt very spacious for a group. Wonderful blend of modern amenities in kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms while keeping design features of the historic carriage house. Lovely private backyard and patio. Location very close to mainstreet. Walkable to restaurants, shops.

Why would you stay anywhere else!!

Our group of five women loved this accommodation. This was my fourth time staying with Cory and Rusty. The house is always spotless. Who doesn't like a hot tub on the deck and always a bottle of wine chilling in the refrigerator for our arrival. Why would you stay anywhere else?

Beautiful home

We booked this home for a girls golf getaway. The home was very clean. Very convenient location to restaurants, shopping and LCBO. The hot tub was very relaxing after playing golf. As an added bonus, the host also left a bottle of red wine from a local winery which we enjoyed very much. We are already thinking we should book it again for next June.
