Welcome to our Lakeview House in Sudden Valley!
Its a hidden gem of the Pacifist North West, nestled near Lake Whatcom on the outskirts of Bellingham, its a sleepy neighborhood hidden in the middle of the woods, minutes away from the lake, marina, golf course, parks and lots of trails. Close to Galbraith mountain
20 min from downtown Bellingham where you will find great restaurants, breweries, and fun places to hang out.

Brand new high-end , modern and spacious home . apprx 3000 sqft , 3 story , 3 bdrm - 4 bthrms with heated floors , 2 game/tv/bonus rooms (games included) , that can also provide additional sleeping area with available cots . Open entry , fully equipped kitchen , and dining room on the main floor . Large , private , tiled decks on every floor with gas fireplaces , bbq grill , full sz hot tub and lots of seating to take in the amazing view of the lake and mountains , if thats not your thing , we have 6 smart tvs in the house (one in every rm) so you can catch up on your favorite shows

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. It was thoughtfully designed to maximize privacy from neighbors. The views from the back of the home feel like you are alone in the woods. The owners have put in a lot of effort into making this home feel like a vacation- plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, games for the kids. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything was perfect, the property was beautiful, well stocked with everything you would need. The hot tub and fireplaces were so nice to have after hiking. It was hard to go to our next destination, nothing is going to beat this house. Would highly recommend and stay here and stay here again. It is centrally located to many hiking areas, restaurants and shopping. It is beautiful!!!

This place was perfect for our weekend with family and friends. It was three couples total. It was great for everyone to have their personal space to relax while also having a wonderful dining space to congregate, spend time together, have meals together, and play lots of Catan (board game). Thank you for providing such a relaxing space for us to be able to enjoy!

We stayed for four nights and had lots of issues. The smart thermostat, which came with no instructions and is set based on past experience, cannot be overridden without a reset, which the owner asked us not to do. So every night the temperature went down to 56 to 58 degrees. We tried opening doors and windows instead of using the HVAC, but none had screens, so bugs flooded in, and the traffic noise from the main road below disturbed sleep. The mattresses are pure foam -- hot sleepers beware. Nightstands are tiny and lack even a clock. The floors squeak terribly.The kitchen lacks basic items like cooking oil, napkins, a can opener, and dishtowels. The dishes are plastic-like. The bathrooms have a single tiny towel rack. All soaps are perfumy. On the plus side: the design, construction, and view of the house are great. The house was very clean. The owner responded to inquiries quickly and seemed well meaning, but does not seem to understand what is expected of a rental property at this price point. The issues prevented restful sleep, which seriously impacted the quality of our stay.

Gorgeous views

We had a blast celebrating my wife's birthday. Our highlights were the hot tub, sitting outside and watching the bald eagles, and making trips in to Bellingham and Fairhaven. The kitchen was well supplied and we were able to make all our own meals easily.

Golf getaway

New, modern, amazing house. The pictures don’t do this place justice. Great view surrounded by trees. Would stay here again if I had the chance. Short drive to the community store and sudden valley golf course.

Memorable family stay

Amazing view, well stocked, very clean wonderful triple decks with fireplaces, hot tub and games for the kids. We were all impressed! Speedy communication from the attentive host.
