This is a pet free and shoes off home. Please turn off outside lighting by 11 PM. Quiet time between 10 PM and 7AM. No smoking anywhere on property
Parties, events not permitted. Anyone at the cabin after 11 p.m. should be a Registered guest. $30/night for each unregistered guest will be charged.
Please be fire smart when using gas fireplace on deck and inside the house as well as the fire pit. Do not leave the home with the fire unattended.

My family stayed here while we visited the North Cascades. It’s a beautiful location near Lake Whatcom and a convenient short drive into Bellingham. The house is beautiful and filled with comfortable touches. The host was very quick to respond and made everything easy. Definitely recommend!!

The stay was great once the miscummunication of HOA regulations, at this location, were straightened out. It was not stated explicitly enough that there was "no smoking" inside as well as outside on property until booked and paid for. Also, no mention of no AC, for some this could be a health issue.Final mention, is the owner of the property was very easy to work with and would give a recommendation for this property.

Wonderful house and host

If you want quiet and beauty, this is the place to go. We were a group of 8 senior citizens. We had a medical issue and the host was so accommodating. Highly recommend Forest Haven. 10 out of 10!!

beautiful spot in quiet wooded area close to many hiking trails

Property was clean and had all the things needed for a nice week with our family of 9. Communications with Rupa was as good as it gets. Love the nature around the home. Had multiple times deer were with in 50 feet of the back deck.

Serene, clean, and comfortable!

Amazing property in a secluded feeling area while still being a reasonable drive to downtown Bellingham and a short drive to beautiful Whatcom Falls. The house was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, good cooking supplies, even the toilet paper was high quality! Communication from the hosts was very good and they accommodated a special request we had. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

Beautiful clean home that feels like you are in the woods

Very clean home with good room for our family. We had 10 members in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us. Open concept allowed plenty of room to congregate around the kitchen and dining area. Would recommend.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!

This house was everything the pictures showed but even better!!!! The house was super clean with cozy beds, great showers and plenty of space to unpack! The kitchen was well stocked with a huge table for everyone to sit around. The hosts also provided so many little touches like good toilet paper, cold water in the fridge upon arrival and a goodie basket with treats and wine. The location is close enough to town but far enough to feel like you are in a remote cabin. The hosts are very responsive if you have questions and so helpful! We can’t wait to come back to town to stay at this home again!

Wonderful stay outside of town

This was a warm and very inviting place with exquisite facilities, kitchen, and patio. The no pet policy was appreciated as well, since we have allergies too. Rupa and Ashok were clear and cordial all the way throughout our visit, and we would not hesitate to book again for another stay!

Lady's annual trip

Property was very clean and well stocked. Communication with the owners was very easy. The house was beautiful and outside space was very relaxing. House is approximately 20 minutes from Bellingham and 90 minutes from North Cascades National Park. Owners provide maps of the area which was very helpful.

Great family home

We loved staying at this property! It is extremely clean and well apportioned. The driveway is quite steep and a bit hard to navigate going downhill, but the home is lovely and gives you the feel for Sudden Valley. We would definitely stay there again!

Modern Retreat in the Woods

If you are looking for a quiet retreat in the woods but with all the modern conveniences, this home is perfect for you. Lovely, well-appointed, but comfortable. Located in a developed community so there are neighbors close by, but the surrounding homes are not intrusive to your experience. Kitchen is fairly well supplied, we were able to cook full meals. Stores are 20-min drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy house for a getaway with friends

This house is located in a very quiet neighborhood with incredible views from every window of the trees. Directions to the house were easy and clear and we were delighted upon arriving to see a welcome card and bottle of wine from the owners! The house is very modern and very clean. It is fully stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The kitchen is huge, gorgeous and had everything we needed to cook amazing meals. The rain showers are amazing and the bathtub is very roomy and deep, perfect for a bubble bath. The location is great. We felt very secluded but also very close to several lakes, the ocean, and downtown Bellingham. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house that you can tell the owners take very good care of and put a lot of love into:)

Excellent property!

A wonderful and fully updated property. Four of us were on a Pacific Northwest golf trip and the house was the perfect launching point for our daily rounds of golf. Rupa and Ashok were a pleasure to deal with.

Great Property in Sudden Valley

This is a great property in Sudden Valley. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with a large deck in a very private backyard. The property is very well maintained and well equipped. A great location with lots of nearby trails and easy access to Bellingham.
