“It was pretty good overall. The AC worked very good, clean rooms, fun pool. We took a early tour at 7am and their restaurant had our pre ordered breakfast ready at 6:30am. Perfect Grocery store and chiken restaurant across the street. We stayed at a family cabana ( 2 rooms ), There was a few issues, the hot water was not working in one of the bathrooms, The mini fridge wasn't working in one of the rooms. “This lodge was amazing, the room was clean and big, the whole site was gorgeous with so many huge plants and trees! There is also a small hike you can do around the lodge. The pool is great and the set up around it is really peaceful. The staff is really nice and so helpful. They gave us a map to walk downtown, which is 15-20 mins by foot. “Our stay was AMAZING!! Mark made our visit so personal and warm, he’s the best. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating to my friend’s dietary needs. I would recommend Vanilla Hills over and over again. We stayed in the large villa and had so much space and privacy. The infinity pool was perfect, and there’s a walkable river access we went to as well! There’s tons to see and do on the property as well as nearby. Our stay was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer. ”
