The rooftop bar was a great place to hang out and meet people and even better the drinks were cheap. Parking available for a charge and the staff were all lovely. Highly recommend”

“Stayed in deluxe room with own en-suite. Room was clean & comfortable. Ideal for my short-term stay (3 nights), albeit a little expensive for a hostel. Had to close bathroom door overnight as fan would stay on for some reason which was loud. Didn’t use the facilities on site but staff seemed friendly & overall the building was well maintained. Pool also looked clean but didn’t use it. ”

“Overall it was OK and in a great spot. However the TV was not working in the main room, which is poor. We were also abruptly told we would be charged extra if we were out by 10.30am instead of 10.00am”

“The Sebel was in a great location and central to cafes and a very short walk to the beach. Quiet at night and it provides a nice kitchen if you wish eat in. ”

“Choosing to stay here you need to keep in mind that it is a 2 star hostel so you can't expect bells and whistles. You have to manage your expectations. That being said me and my partner found this to be the perfect base for our Byron Bay stay. We stayed in a private cube double room and to be honest it's everything we needed. We've stayed in 5 star hotels before and I can honestly say the bed in this hostel was one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in! We had a fridge to store food and drink...
