“Stayed here 2 nights as we were doing the Macmillan mighty hike in Malham. Hotel was great, good selection of beers, food was fantastic ( proper pub grub), staff were friendly and helpful, clean rooms. ”

“Clean well equiped appartment. Enjoyed the swimming pool, table tennis and the bar that looked out onto the lake.Loved the seating area/garden to sit out in the evening. Site is in a brilliant location for cycling routes (cycled on the lancaster canel tow path and along an off traffic route all the way into morcombe). Friendly helpful staff .”

“We spent a night at the Wheatsheaf, to break the long drive from Scotland to Berkshire. Our room, although not huge, was clean, with crisp, white bed linen on a very comfy bed, and with lovely views of the pretty village church. Although warned about the frequent bell ringing, it did not disturb us in any way. Nice, white towels were provided in the shower room.
