Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. “The suite was beautiful, very clean and the decor was stunning. The owners were very helpful with parking information as our vehicle wouldn’t fit in the car parking space provided (travelling in campervan). Suite was less than 1 mins walk from the centre. ”

The room was clean and comfortable if a little small, though the en-suite bathroom off an inside hallway didn’t have much heat and was freezing. “This was our second stay at The Tavern and we will most definitely return. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities available. This time we stayed in the room with the amazing bath. Sadly we didn’t have chance to use it as only stayed for one night. The breakfast is wonderful and certainly set us up for the day.
