La pietra salta alla spiaggia. Spazioso e accogliente

Una casa spaziosa e confortevole con un ampio cortile ombreggiato per attività all'aperto e relax. A un isolato da Oak Street Beach. È come tornare a casa.

Tre camere da letto comprende due con letti queen size e una con due letti singoli. Con un materasso ad aria queen size disponibile su richiesta. Una camera familiare con ampie finestre e comodi posti a sedere per 9. Cucina e sala da pranzo di dimensioni complete.

Rondella e asciugatrice impilate. Uno e mezzo bagni. Il bagno full size include una doccia senza barriere (senza vasca) e un corrimano vicino allo sgabello. Il bagno di servizio è collegato alla camera da letto principale.

Un cortile considerevole con alberi maturi, pozzo del fuoco, tavoli da picnic e posti a sedere all'aperto offre al tuo gruppo un sacco di spazio per rilassarsi e giocare.

A soli tre isolati da Stanley Johnston Memorial Park, a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro di South Haven con i suoi negozi di specialità e molti ristoranti. Un isolato da Oak Street Beach. Molti festival, fiere d'arte e artigianato e attività locali durante tutta l'estate. Degustazione di vini e tour sono solo mezz'ora a modo.

Biancheria da letto, da bagno e da cucina sono forniti. Abbiamo condimenti di base e condimento in cucina. Oltre a una fornitura iniziale di prodotti di carta. Abbiamo anche giocattoli di sabbia per i bambini da usare sulla spiaggia. Si prega di portare i propri teli da spiaggia però.

Questa era la nostra casa di famiglia. Fino a quando non potremo tornare qui al momento del pensionamento, vorremmo condividerlo con te.

I was looking for somewhere to stay close to South Haven very last minute, and found this house. It is in the perfect location to the beach and a very short drive to downtown. The house itself is older and needs some updating but very clean. I do think it was kind of expensive for one night, but maybe that was because we only stayed one night, so all the VRBO fees were not “spread out”.

5 Stars Across the Board!

This was our second year staying at this property, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The house was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family of four. Just one block from Oak Beach, the location is perfect for quick and easy beach access. Communication with the property owner was always prompt and helpful, which made everything smooth from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to coming back again next year! Highly recommend.

Great location! Close to the beach. Plenty of room inside and out. Great yard for yard games, BBQ etc. Firepit was nice to have. Only wish there were beach chairs and umbrella for quests to use (for those of us who fly into Michigan).

Pros: Very near a lovely beach. Street was really nice and quiet. Neutral: House was fairly clean, but not entirely. Towels and bedding smelled of really strong detergent (but some people might like that). Cons: House smelled musty (like a wet basement type of smell). We kept the windows open the whole time (with the AC off) to keep the smell tolerable. After our first contact with the back room, we didn't enter that space again which has a direct connection to the basement. Overall, we had a decent enough stay.

A great home base in South Haven

South Haven is quaint and small. This house is quaint, but don't be fooled by the size based on curb appearance. It's plenty roomy, cozy, and comfortable. Plenty of drawer-closet space in the 3 bedrooms, and the kitchen is stocked probably better than yours (certainly mine!). We've rented dozens of places over the decades, and not a single other one comes close. Finally, the location is terrific...a 10-minute walk, or 2-minute drive to the places you want to be in S Haven itself, and 15 minutes to Saugatuck-Douglas. We also spent one day in Grand Rapids, and were in downtown in under an hour. Simply put, you won't go wrong if you make this house your home base for exploring the region.

Perfect Week!

Our family of four stayed for a perfect week. Lou was above and beyond as a host, and the accommodations were exactly as advertised. We felt right at home. The proximity to Oak Beach was perfect for our family (even with little legs). And the beach was phenomenal. The outdoor shower at the house was very convenient!

Good for family

Close to Oak beach in quiet neighborhood. Nice side yard my kids enjoyed playing in after the beach. Few easy blocks to walk to stanley park. Owner easy to get ahold of and communicate with. Overall enjoyed our stay.

South Haven Cottage

Lou communicated well throughout the reservation process and during the stay. We had no issues during our stay and felt like we got a great value for the price we paid. The property is older and shows signs of age but that should not discourage you from staying. It is a perfect location within walking distance to the beach, to town, and just a generally great neighborhood to walk. The yard is fantastic and we spent every evening playing cornhole and having a fire. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was fantastic, and the water quality was good and soft. The fridge has plenty of room and the ice maker works great. Lou's property has everything you need to make it a fantastic vacation! Thank you Lou! We hope to return next year!!! My only complaints (and they are small) The bathroom needs a fan as it gets very steamy and has no ventilation. There are no extra towels or washcloths so plan to bring along some laundry soap and wash towels mid vacation. There are no lawn games nor beach supplies. Not a huge deal but plan to bring all of those items yourself.

Excellent beach vacation!

We had so much fun during our trip. The house is great, and has an excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from Oak Beach on the north side of South Haven. Quiet neighborhood, close to all amenities. Lou is a very thoughtful host! We will definitely be back here for our next South Haven trip as a family.

Love the location!

House met our needs and had a great yard! We especially appreciated the variety of sitting areas outside and the outdoor shower. We came with our 3 young kids and the older 2 loved the twin beds with the Marvel theme! We are probably hyper-sensitive to this since we have a 10 month old who can crawl and not yet walk, but the floors were not clean when we arrived. We noticed his knees turning brown so we were thankful to find the Swiffer to be able to clean the floors ourselves. Admittedly, if we didn’t have a crawling baby, we probably would not have noticed or otherwise cared. The outdoor grill was great to have and we loved the proximity to the beach! There was a day with rain in the morning and we were able to get there as soon as it stopped and we had Oak Beach all to ourselves for almost an hour. Cannot overstate the value of being this close to the beach - we stayed in South Haven last year at a different house further inland and I would choose this house every time. Loved walking to North Beach and Bunde’s almost daily…pastries, yum!

Perfect location, great house!

The house was in the perfect location and was perfect for our needs! Owners were kind and responsive. One block to the beach and just a short drive to downtown South Haven. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We will be back!

We enjoyed the quiet area and short walk to small beach. The larger beaches and more bustling area are within walking distance as well but we liked that this property was just on the outskirts of all of that. House was comfortable but age of house and updates are showing. Owner was available if needed and easy check in/out

Short vacation

The cottage was in a very convenient location; in walking distance from Oak Beach. It was spacious, with 3 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths, and a large kitchen. There were 2 large TV’s, with plenty of channels for rainy days. It was also very affordable. The house was a little shabby, and could use some updates, ut it was great for the price.
