“A hidden gem! This place is a beautiful oasis by the beach. We stayed in one of the cottages, raised in the middle of the pristine gardens. Loved the traditional design of the wooden cottages, the lush, gardens, waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning, the swimming pool is lovely especially in the evening when it’s not too hot. Special kudos to the Bongo beach shack, that marks the approach of the Little India to the beach. Here the staff really makes you feel home and well looked...

“If you have transportation, it’s heaven. Everything exists at a distance so you need a car, bike, etc. ”

“We had to change 3 rooms due to (1) noise and construction dust (2) leaking shower door and (3) we were stuck in this room for the remainder of the stay with fowl urine stench from the drain pipes. The Hotel GM was very sympathetic and did try to resolve the issue but it appeared to be a more systemic issue on that floor not just our room. We do appreciate the GM’s effort in helping us That being said the staff was very helpful and esp the Exec Chef attended to our dietary needs.”

The courtyard area with the swimming pool is also clean and comfortable. “Modern Hotel in a pretty good location. There is one small road to the beach (5-10 min walk) and to the main road there is only 1 min walk (you can walk this way to and from the beach in the evening, which I did). The room had everything I needed, including a balcony with a nice view. The breakfast was a buffet of various indian dishes, and I tried them all. The Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.”
