“Overall not a bad experience at all. Just a few things that weren’t the greatest. There were mold spots on the walls in the part of the bathroom where the shower was, I’m assuming because there was no ventilation in there. The other thing was you had to pay to park in the parking lot. We only stayed one night so not a huge deal but had it been multiple nights that definitely would have been a problem. $25 a night is crazy. The staff was really friendly, the breakfast was good. “When I checked in I had booked a room with 1 king bed. I got there and I got to my room and it had 2 queen beds instead. I complained about it but was basically told, “too bad.” The water pressure in the sink was very low. The water just dribbled out. The next morning I was told that breakfast is $20 per person. “This is our go-to hotel in KC. It is conveniently located in the middle of the Power and Light district. The T-Mobile center is in walking distance. The hotel is very clean, the staff is super friendly, and the food at the hotel restaurant is delicious. The only issue we had when last time we stayed there was that the elevator wasn’t working properly. Hopefully that issue has been fixed.”
