“My husband and I stayed at this property for a wedding Memorial Day weekend. The place was comfortable cozy and close! We had an issue with the booking and day of the arrival that was dealt with promptly and professional with the owner. Communication was terrific to navigate this miscommunication and the owner made sure that we were able to attend all of the wedding events without compromise. He even offered to allowed us a late check out that was very helpful. I would highly recommend this...

“While there was something left to be desired by the kitchen utensils and cookware, this place is located off the beaten path in a beautiful mountainside area. Definitely worth the price. Just bring your own pot holders and pizza cutter if you plan on having pizza lol. ”

“This place was wonderful - the location and the amenities were as described and perfect. The patio by the water with the Adirondack chairs and firepit were the best thing for us, with the hot tub a close second.The only negative thing at all was the rooster right next door that decided he should wake us up at 6AM and 5AM.”

“We enjoyed our 4 night visit at The Cabin at Alta Vista. The cabin is a relaxing home away from home. There are so many personal touches the owners leave for their guests. The sunroom was our favorite place to hang as a family and work puzzles and play board games. The cabin is close to towns if you want to explore, but it's a wonderful space if you're looking for a rental to stay and recharge!”

“This cabin exceeded my expectations! If I had known how tranquil and beautiful the surroundings were we would have stayed a whole week! My husband and two 17 year old boys enjoyed the place. We were able to swim and fish in the lake. It was so nice to sit outside with the rustling of the leaves, sound of the cicadas and birds. The sauna and hot tub were nice.
