Cozy Bear Cottage - Christmas at the Cabin!

Una bellissima cabina in legno di pino isolata su 3 acri di terreno boschivo tutto per te. Privato e accogliente, siamo a solo 1/2 miglio dal fiume, a 3 miglia da Cooter's Place, a 10 minuti dalle Luray Caverns e dalla città, e 5 minuti dalla Washington Jefferson National Forest. Siamo a 17 miglia dallo Skyline Drive dello Shenandoah National Park.

Io e mio marito adoriamo stare nella nostra cabina dove è tranquillo, bello e tranquillo. È un ottimo posto per rilassarsi e riposarsi l'un l'altro.

La cabina offre 3 camere da letto dotate di 2 letti queen size e 1 set di letti a castello singoli. Tutti i nuovi materassi e cuscini! Il nuovissimo DECK è appena finito il 15 novembre! Bellissimo portico coperto coperto per godersi la mattinata su una sedia a dondolo, pioggia o sole. Grande buca per il fuoco e sedie Adirondack per sedersi e arrostire marshmallow o semplicemente guardare qualche "tv uomo delle caverne". La cabina ha anche un camino a legna all'interno che è super caldo e romantico con quella persona speciale.

Abbiamo DISH tv e NO Wi-Fi. Tuttavia, se sei come me, vuoi comunque accedere a tutti i tuoi programmi Netflix e Prime. Abbiamo un eccellente servizio cellulare in cabina e sei il benvenuto su Hotspot per il tuo telefono o altro dispositivo cellulare e ti connetti alla tv in modo da poter guardare tutti i tuoi spettacoli a tuo piacimento. Cozy Bear Cottage non sarà responsabile per costi aggiuntivi per il tuo piano cellulare.

Anniversary trip for family celebration

Property was very clean, the only complaint was the amount of flying insects on the grounds outside the cabin. We used bug spray, but could not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space as we had intended to do.

Cozy Bear Cottage was Great!

We had a wonderful stay at Cozy Bear Cottage. Everything was as described, really nice, clean and comfortable cottage. Mellanie and Marty were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We would return for another visit in the future.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Lots of fun hiking in the National Park nearby. We loved sitting by the firepit in the evenings. The cabin was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed.

Everything worked as described. Well stocked with spices appeared to have what you would need for cooking but I only used kettle and toaster as don’t cook on vacation. Only has 1 hair dryer wall mounted in master bath- that worked for us but might want to bring one if more people staying. Close to caverns snd park.

Fall Family Weekend

Great spot to get over to Shenandoah NP during the day and the amenities of Luray as needed. Roads getting in are very dark at night, as long as you keep that in mind you'll enjoy the stay and the location.

Idyllic getaway

Wonderful experience. The place is so cute, beautifully maintained, and well stocked with plenty of extra comforts. It's close to many beautiful hikes and also close to town. Appreciated the hosts' great communication as well as the nice little details (like comfy pillows!). We would definitely love to come back. Fantastic!

Nice Place

Mellanie and Marty’s home near Luray is just as advertised in the listing. I traveled here with my 80 year old parents to explore Shenandoah National Park and surrounding areas. The cabin is an easy drive to the park (either through Luray or Elkton). The area is very quiet. We did not hear or see any neighbors while we were there. Everything in the home was in working order. WiFi was good and I was able to stream Netflix with no issues. The check in process and communication with the owners was good. I would recommend this cabin if you are visiting the area.

Great cabin in the woods. Secluded, very clean, cute bear decorations, bunk beds were taken down into 2 singles, hot tub was nice. Overall a great stay!

Cabin with lots of unexpected amenities in a great location.

The cabin was cozy and quaint with clean rooms and lots of amenities. I was very impressed with how well-stocked the cabin was. There was a pack-and-play for kids to sleep in, a baby bathtub, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, games, and many other items. I’ve stayed at other VRBO properties that don’t provide any of those amenities. I would highly recommend this property.

Great getaway 2 hours from DC

Clean and cozy cabin just far enough to get away from it all. Lots of activities nearby, but the owners set up the cabin so you won't have to leave if you want solitude.

Wonderful, quiet cabin

We stayed here with our two little girls (1,3) for a few days while we explored the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean and very comfortable. The location was great for being isolated but also being close enough to town to head in for dinner and to Shenandoah for hiking--exactly what we wanted in this regard. The cabin was well stocked for our purposes (e.g. kid cups/plates) and had some nice touches that we haven't encountered in other places (a double towel rack in the master bath for instance). The gates on the porch worked really well for keeping the kids contained on the porch. Speaking of the porch, we greatly enjoyed our time on the porch in the cool of the morning and at night. We would almost certainly stay in this cabin again if we travel back to this area.

Cute cabin!

We wanted a cabin stay to decompress after spring break in DC. Nice and relaxing. The fire pit was our favorite thing. Cabin is accurately described. Charming! Beds were comfy. Neighbors have a barking dog that woke us up one night-not sure what that was about. Master bathroom has been nicely updated. We didn’t do much in the area except Storybook trail (teens love the rock scrambling).
