Chateau Merlot è una casa vacanza spaziosa e accogliente perfetta per diverse famiglie o grandi gruppi. Dispone di 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni al piano principale e 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno al piano inferiore. Il livello principale è mozzafiato con finestre a pavimento e soffitto e una cucina a vista aperta, sala da pranzo e soggiorno, 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni full size. Il salotto ha un bellissimo camino in mattoni di legno, posti a sedere comodi e un set di porte che si aprono fino all'ampio ponte avvolgente con una griglia a gas e un patio. Il livello inferiore ha una spaziosa camera familiare con un camino a gas che si apre su un'altra zona cucina completa. Il livello più basso ha anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice, una sala idromassaggio, biliardino, 2 camere da letto, 1 bagno completo e un grande mudroom fuori dalla zona giorno perfetta per decollare tutto ciò che gli attrezzi da sci / snowboard. Questa unità ha aria centrale e un'area esterna del focolare. WIFI è disponibile in tutto ed i cani non sono ammessi. Il Chateau Merlot si trova a 4 isolati dalla principale struttura sciistica.

Great friends weekend

We had a great weekend with a group of friends. There were 9 of us, but could have comfortably fit more people. The kitchens were fully stocked and had all we needed for the weekend. We would highly recommend this house and hope to come back again next year!

Family Ski Trip

We came to the UP to ski but unfortunately there was very little snow on the ski hills. But no worries there was plenty to do between exploring the many waterfalls just down the road to gathering around the fireplace at the Chateau to play games and watch movies. The house has so much space that our group of 12 was never crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and cookware. But the amount of cookware & bowls could be down sized and better organized. The only issues we encountered were the extra plates we grabbed from the downstairs kitchen were dirty and we couldn’t get the tv to work beyond spectrum channels. Better Instructions would be helpful. We ended up just casting to use the apps off an iPhone to watch movies. We were pleasantly surprised by the Christmas tree & great decorations!! Loved our time here! We will be back! P.S the laminated guide for the area was fantastic!

Nice location to relax

Peaceful and in a wooded area. There was no kettle to boil water for hot chocolate/tea. Enjoyed being able to eat outside on the deck when the weather was nice.

Nice stay

Location of rental was nice. Close to many summer activities and cute towns. The rental accommodated a rental party if all adults comfortably. The basement (with bedrooms) was musty and mold was a concern. A dehumidifier in the basement would be nice. We opened the windows for fresh air. The kitchen was well equipped and was large enough for us to cook and eat all our meals in. We did not use the sauna so no review on that. We had what we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. Thank you 😊

Clean ,plenty of room, had eveything they stated on the site. Would rent it again.

Property was clean and roomy for 15 people. Had evwrything we needed. Needs more garbage cans or a dumpster though. Ran out of room for trash. Loved the house and area.

Summer 2022 Group Vacation was a hit!

We were very satisfied with this rental. We had 4 couples and plenty of space! It was clean and well stocked with all the necessities, including marshmallow roasting sticks. It is located in the perfect location for our adventures chasing waterfalls, hiking the Porkies, and hunting Yooperlites. We would recommend this place and even consider for future stays.

Annual family getaway

There was a little confusion about check in time. We got two emails one said 3:00 the other said 4:00. We got there about 3:15 the 4:00 one was correct. Fortunately there was someone at the office and she let us in. The carpet has seen it’s better days. Over all the place was ok.

Great for big family

Kitchen was fully equipped. If you're a big cooker like us, you'll have everything you need. Place is clean. Love that there's hand soap in all bathrooms and kitchen as well. Kids love the big hot tube. The 3 full bathrooms were great for our big family. There was no waiting for getting ready in the morning. Would stay here again.

Relax in the UP

The property was very nice, I have been to many of the Powderhorn Chalets over the years, and this was one of my favorites. Very clean, very spacious, very well appointed with all you need to be comfortable. Will recommend to others in the future.

Beds in the woods!

A cozy cabin to play games and sit by the fire. It was nice to have a space for the kids to be separate from the adults if we needed some extra space. The basics and most of everything you need is provided. The extra rooms and beds allowed for everyone to have a nice private bed. **Close to the ski hills (kids enjoyed indianhead for second day) and convenient shuttle. Big powderhorn is a nice beginner hill.
