Chateau Merlot è una casa vacanza spaziosa e accogliente perfetta per diverse famiglie o grandi gruppi. Dispone di 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni al piano principale e 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno al piano inferiore. Il livello principale è mozzafiato con finestre a pavimento e soffitto e una cucina a vista aperta, sala da pranzo e soggiorno, 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni full size. Il salotto ha un bellissimo camino in mattoni di legno, posti a sedere comodi e un set di porte che si aprono fino all'ampio ponte avvolgente con una griglia a gas e un patio. Il livello inferiore ha una spaziosa camera familiare con un camino a gas che si apre su un'altra zona cucina completa. Il livello più basso ha anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice, una sala idromassaggio, biliardino, 2 camere da letto, 1 bagno completo e un grande mudroom fuori dalla zona giorno perfetta per decollare tutto ciò che gli attrezzi da sci / snowboard. Questa unità ha aria centrale e un'area esterna del focolare. WIFI è disponibile in tutto ed i cani non sono ammessi. Il Chateau Merlot si trova a 4 isolati dalla principale struttura sciistica.

We had a very nice week with family. Great location, with many things to do within an hour drive. We enjoyed several nights by the fire and breakfasts on the deck. Very close to Ironwood making it easy to get supplies when we needed.

Great Place for famiies or group of Friends

We had a fantastic stay at Chateau Merlot. Absolutely Loved having a large space for our group to hang out with a REAL Fireplace, sauna was way better than we anticipated. It was the perfect place to relax after skiing at big powderhorn.

Another Great Weekend!

This was the third winter we've had a group up to BPLA for a ski weekend, all three places we've stayed so far have been great but Chateau Merlot definitely takes the cake! Very cozy, lots of space for our group to unwind after a day on the slopes. The sauna was phenomenal!

Great Labor Day Weekend!

I give Chateau Merlot 5 stars, and you will see real stars at night sitting at the bon fire! We lucked out with the weather, but if we had to stay in the place was clean and has such a friendly atmosphere.. My friends and I are planning to come back next year. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Great friends weekend

We had a great weekend with a group of friends. There were 9 of us, but could have comfortably fit more people. The kitchens were fully stocked and had all we needed for the weekend. We would highly recommend this house and hope to come back again next year!

Nice location to relax

Peaceful and in a wooded area. There was no kettle to boil water for hot chocolate/tea. Enjoyed being able to eat outside on the deck when the weather was nice.

Clean ,plenty of room, had eveything they stated on the site. Would rent it again.

Property was clean and roomy for 15 people. Had evwrything we needed. Needs more garbage cans or a dumpster though. Ran out of room for trash. Loved the house and area.

Girls Trip

Chateau Merlot This chateau is amazing and exactly as described. Very spacious yet cozy. We’re repeat renters. We stayed 5 days. It’s summertime and had perfect weather. We enjoyed the wonderful deck every day. Enough tables and chairs for our whole group to sit & relax, play games, share meals, fresh air and just enjoy nature! Great view from inside. It’s very accommodating, clean and comfortable. Open concept for the kitchen, dining area and living room. Great for keeping the conversations going. Kitchen was fully stocked, had everything we needed for cooking, serving and eating. Main level has 3 bedrooms, comfy beds and 2 full bathrooms lessen any wait time. Only regret was not making time to use the new sauna. Although July isn’t skiing season, there were many activities available to us. The chateau is also not far from Lake Superior and many breathtaking waterfalls. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Family Ski Trip

We came to the UP to ski but unfortunately there was very little snow on the ski hills. But no worries there was plenty to do between exploring the many waterfalls just down the road to gathering around the fireplace at the Chateau to play games and watch movies. The house has so much space that our group of 12 was never crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and cookware. But the amount of cookware & bowls could be down sized and better organized. The only issues we encountered were the extra plates we grabbed from the downstairs kitchen were dirty and we couldn’t get the tv to work beyond spectrum channels. Better Instructions would be helpful. We ended up just casting to use the apps off an iPhone to watch movies. We were pleasantly surprised by the Christmas tree & great decorations!! Loved our time here! We will be back! P.S the laminated guide for the area was fantastic!

Great group space, well stocked

We had a group of 12, including a couple of kids. The bedrooms were set up great to have both families and couples have their own space that fit them well. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. it’s always hit or miss and we were very pleased with all the available resources. Communication from the owner was great. We frequently stay at a different place each year but the group agreed this was on the list to stay at again.
