    Il Cervino è una splendida casa vacanze spaziosa, perfetta per diverse famiglie o un gruppo numeroso. Offre 2 camere da letto e 2 bagni al livello principale e 4 camere da letto e 4 bagni al livello superiore. Il livello principale offre anche la cucina aperta, la sala da pranzo e il soggiorno. Il soggiorno ha un accogliente sezionale in pelle, una zona salotto affondata attorno al grande camino a gas e soffitti alti. Grandi porte finestre conducono fuori dalla zona pranzo ad un ponte laterale inclinato con una griglia a gas. Le molte finestre portano molta luce e illuminano il livello principale. Questa casa offre anche una vasca idromassaggio per 4 persone, una sauna, un'ampia sala riscaldata con ingresso / bagagliaio e WIFI in tutte le aree. I cani non sono ammessi in questa casa. We had such a good time staying at Matterhorn! Matterhorn was our "home base" during our team trip up for Sisu Ski Fest. It was such a great fit for us: lots of space and very comfortable rooms. We especially loved the conversation pit and fireplace! We hope to be back in the future

A lovely get-away

My adult children, their partners, and I all enjoyed our stay. Easy access to numerous hiking trails and we spent one day at the Apostle Islands. All the amenities were as described and house was really fabulous.

A nice place to return to.

We have stayed here twice. It is kid friendly and in a very quiet location. It would be nice if the hot tub was available during the off season, but understandable.

Wonderful family time

Matterhorn provided my family with a wonderful space to enjoy a four-day weekend. There was plenty of space for sleeping and and family meals. We spent a lot of time enjoying the area hiking and everyone had a wonderful weekend. we will definitely be back again!

Ski trip with friends

The house was very comfortable and easily accommodated our group of 11 adults. It was clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room to hangout and to play games.

Another wonderful weekend

For the past nineteen years our family has enjoyed a fall weekend getaway. For the past for years we have stayed at the Matterhorn Chalet. There are fourteen of us aging from 8 to 75 and this is a perfect fit for our group. It isn’t fancy but is a comfortable place for our four night stay. We make good use of the many beds and bathrooms. The living room is very big and the dining table plus the stools at the counter seats the entire family. The area is beautiful and there are endless opportunities for hiking and many great beaches to enjoy. We highly recommend and hope to return again next year.

The second day we were there they groomed the hill by the house. It was great that the kids could ski right to the hill.

Place was decent other than the mouse we found dead in the kitchen sink on the morning we left and the pee stained bunk bed mattress

Matterhorn stay

Matterhorn is a absolutely perfect place to stay to visit Bessemer and it’s Beautiful surroundings.. including our relatives who live in Bessemer. We have stayed there many times and it feels like home.. one thing I might mention is the little ants 🐜 that hang out in the kitchen. Dishwasher, and countertop.. The large tv was awesome for us to watch the soccer play off. Thank you for keeping it up so nicely. Hopefully we can stay there again next year.

We loved our stay. This is the second time we stayed there. But as much as we love it, we have been disappointed that we were not able to ski in ski out either year. So sadly. We are booking a different place next year.. if this place does not work out. We will be back . Our only complaint is that the whirlpool tub and the floor are showing their age. Last year it was not very clean so we brought cleaning supplies this year . Also, there was no dishwasher soap . Other than that....we loved it there.

Large accommodations for a large family

We had a wonderful weekend at Matterhorn. This is the perfect setup for our 18th annual fall family trip. There is a bed for everyone and each family has their own bathroom. The kitchen is great for our family to cook and enjoy delicious meals with enough seating for the entire group. The living area has plenty of seating and the children have room for playing games. This year the weather was perfect for the kids to have fun running around outside. We love this property however it is beginning to show signs of heavy use. Some of the drains were running very slow, there are water spots on the kitchen ceiling, the cupboard doors are getting a little loose, the carpet is stained but this really didn’t impact our fun. I bet that we will be back again next year and maybe if we are lucky the place will be spruced up a little bit.

This was our 15th annual family fall vacation and Matterhorn was a perfect fit for our entire group of sixteen. The kitchen is large and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. The dining table seats twelve and there is additional seating at the counter which was great for meals, crafts and games. There is plenty of space for eight children and eight adults to relax, play and visit. We plan to return again next fall.

Perfect balance

We really enjoyed our stay! The one feedback I have is that if you ask to download an app for our stay include any door codes on the app. The door code came in an email which if I hadn't loaded the app I would of checked right away. Our family had a lovely time at this property and enjoyed the quite area and well planned floor plan.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Skiing conditions were good. Plenty of snow had just arrived. We were disappointed because with a small crowd on the mountain Big Powderhorn Mt. chose not to run all of the lifts (understandable). However, even with enough snow (at the end of the day we skied down to go home) both lifts 8 & 9 were 2 of the runs the mountain kept closed, so we had paid a premium for ski in - ski out accommodations and did not get the benefit. Based on conversations with the resort, they favor the other side of the mountain because they can make their own snow on that side. Love Matterhorn, it was a great home, just seems to be on the wrong side of the mountain.

Highly recommend this place

We enjoyed staying at this resort. Very well stocked with everything you need. Grocery stores, hospital, places to eat and a brewery with in 15 min drive.
