Ruhig und wunderschön

Die Villa ist wunderschön und gut eingerichtet und ideal für alle, die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit suchen. Gleichzeitig ist man aber relativ zentral auf der Insel und ist binnen einer guten Stunde sowohl in Corralejo als auch in Morro Jable. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und geräumig, es gibt aussen 3 Sitzplätze. Der Pool wird alle paar Tage gereinigt. Lediglich die Küche ist etwas dunkel und könnte noch eine Lampe vertragen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und kümmer Sich sofort um Probleme. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genoss

A little piece of heaven

Wonderful little oasis tucked away from the crowds. I cannot pick any one thing to review because everything was just perfect. One thing that must be mentioned is the quality of contact and how helpful the host was. Alejandro almost instantly replied to WhatsApp messages and was the most accommodating and helpful host I have ever encountered. Quite honestly have not had such a relaxing break since our honeymoon 20 odd years ago. Thank you Alejandro. We will be back. Soon!

Honest review.

First up, we booked this Villa after being messed about with another Vrbo booking whose costs increased as the ‘Teen’ occupant used in the booking process had been omitted by Vrbo after correcting this the price increased by the owner €400! By now time was getting short so we chose this one out of what was now quite a short list. Bearing this in mind and shortly before travelling the owner told us yet again there was a mix up in the booking process that meant we now had to arrive a day later than originally booked which meant finding a room for a night, which is more hassle when you just want to start your holiday. On the day of checking in this process was a bit protracted and a bit later than planned we met with the key holder and taken to the property which for some reason had been set up for a baby? As the key holder didn’t speak any English and our understanding of Spanish is rudimentary,it was.a bit awkward. The first night my partner and l suffered many Mosquito bites which despite buying products to limit this didn’t work and we continued to suffer nights of disrupted sleep throughout. The accommodation itself was good, pool was ok. The outside oven didn’t really appeal to us as it appeared to be not used for a long while, we didn’t know if it had fuel or how you controlled it anyway. As this was the only oven, apart from the Microwave, it limited our eating options so we spent our time eating out every day apart from one.Word limit precludes any further comments!

fantastic house and very nice hosts

The house and the garden are beautiful. It's a very quiet environment and it's a perfect location to reach every point on the island within 1 hour. There are some restaurants in the village and the. next bigger supermarket is a 10 minutes drive. The kitchen has a very good equipment. The hosts are very nice people and you will find very friendly cats :-) Absolute recommendation!

Mit Katzen und Vögeln

Wegen der Vögel Fuerteventuras waren wir gekommen, und wir fanden sie schon in der wunderbaren Begrünung der Villa Margarita und an und über den steinigen Hängen ringsum. Die 4 Katzen störten weder sie noch uns, da sie (fast) nie ins Haus kamen. Der überaus freundliche Gastgeber Alejandro stellte uns sogar Vogelliteratur zur Verfügung und war wie seine Mutter Alejandra überhaupt sehr hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns ausgesprochen wohl in diesem ruhigen Haus auf dem Lande, das mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet ist, auch mit einem Pelletofen, den wir an den kühlen Februarabenden anwarfen. Einzig die Beleuchtung, besonders in der Küche, hat noch Luft nach oben. Die Lage in der Mitte der Insel ist ideal für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen, auch zum empfehlenswerten kleinen Restaurant Unamano in Valle de Santa Inés. Danke den beiden Gastgebern. Wunderbar erholsame Ferien!

Wir haben Anfang Juli 10 wunderbare Tage hier in der Finca Margarita verbracht. Die Lage ist wirklich außergewöhnlich mit Blick auf einige wenige Häuser unterhalb der Finca und dem direkten Blick auf die bergige Landschaft von der Terrasse aus. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die Vermieter Alejandro und seine liebenswerte Mama, die uns hier herzlich aufgenommen und mit frischem Gemüse versorgt haben. Sogar eine Flasche Wein stand zur Begrüßung bereit. Hinter dem Haus betreiben sie eine kleine Tierhaltung, mein Herz erfreut haben allerdings die Katzen mit ihren Besuchen und die 2 Esel hinter dem Haus, die uns unsere eigenen Esel nicht so sehr vermissen ließen. Also, von uns gibt es 5 Sterne und einen extra Stern für die Gastfreundschaft und den unkomplizierten Kontakt schon während der Anreise. Die Finca ist sehr sauber und gemütlich und beinhaltet alles, was man zur Versorgung hier benötigt. Der Pool lädt zum Relaxen ein, wenngleich wir ihn kaum genutzt haben, da das Meer und die Strände hier zu verlockend sind. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen der Insel. Also, von uns gibt es eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Haus, ganz herzliche Grüße an unsere lieben Vermieter! Margitta und Udo

Ruhe und Entspannung in der Natur

Für jemanden, der in seinem Urlaub die absolute Entspannung abseits vom üblichen Touristentrubel sucht, ist dieses Haus wirklich eine gute Wahl. Außer Wind- und Tiergeräuschen hört man am Tag und in der Nacht nichts. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage ist man aber mit einem Mietwagen in maximal 1 Stunde auf jedem gewünschten Fleck der Insel. Wir können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank auch an die Vermieter für den netten Empfang und die jederzeit spontane und unkomplizierte Hilfe.

Ein Juwel

Wenn sie Einsamkeit lieben und trotzdem einen wunderbaren und behaglichen Urlaub verbringen wollen ist dies ihr Haus! Es liegt WIRKLICH abgelegen, umrahmt von braunem Gestein und Hügeln - keine weiteren Häuser in Sicht. Aber sie finden eine richtige Oase in dieser (für FUE nun mal typischen) Steinwüste. Bäume, farbige Blumen, auch Gewürze und Salat. Der Pool (nicht allzu gross) lädt zum Bade und die Liegestühle zum Sonnenbaden. JA, zum Einkaufen fahren sie einige km und gemütlich Restaurants für Abendessen gibt es nur sehr wenige in der Nähe - so ist halt Einsamkeit. Der Vermieter (und seine Kollegin - sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse) sind äusserst nett und hilfreich. Hat uns Eier, Früchte, Gemüse und sogar selbst gefangenen Fisch gebracht. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei beiden!

ESPECTACULAR

Estancia de una semana en familia, la casa es maravillosa, decorada con mucho gusto, con todo lo necesario para estar muy cómodamente, luminosa, no le falta ningún detalle, camas muy cómodas, todo muy limpio en definitiva no se necesita nada más. La zona exterior es increíble porche delantero para sentarse y disfrutar del maravilloso jardín, cuidado al detalle, así como de las vistas. Piscina ideal con un cenador al lado para tomar algo mientras te bañas. Y una terraza trasera junto a la barbacoa para comer o cenar al aire libre. La ubicación de la casa es increíble, en el centro de la isla, en un paraje natural de extraordinaria belleza, con una tranquilidad difícil de encontrar hoy día, descanso y relax garantizado. Hay asimismo una granja cercana a la casa con varios animales, a los cuales nuestro hijo ha dado de comer todos los días disfrutando muchísimo del contacto tan directo con la naturaleza, cogía huevos a diario de las gallinas. Y lo mejor de la casa Alejandro y su madre Alejandra, derrochan amabilidad por los cuatro costados, siempre predispuestos a cualquier cosa que necesitaramos, Alejandro nos trajo pescado fresco, queso recién elaborado de una granja cercana, nos facilito productos locales, mil gracias por todo, no nos habíamos sentido tan cómodos y como en casa en ni gun sitio, se echarán de menos esas charlas en el porche. En definitiva es una casa ideal para desconectar, relajarte, disfrutar de la tranquilidad, estar en contacto con la naturaleza y con los animales, y asimismo sentirte tratado como si estuvieras en tu propia casa. Volveremos sin duda.

Oasis au cœur du désert

Un accueil chaleureux dans une villa isolée dans la montagne, loin du tourisme de masse. La villa Marguarita est une véritable oasis aménagée avec goût, par le propriétaire. Idéalement située au centre de l'île, elle facilite l'accès aux différents points d'intérêts de Fuerteventura. Un grand merci à Alejandro, qui est un hôte extrêmement soucieux de notre bien être et qui a été disponible tout au long de notre séjour pour le rendre le plus agréable possible. Nous recommandons cette villa à tous les fans de treck et de découvertes. PS : nous reviendrons 😊

Abseits des Alltags mit Fernblick

Objektbeschreibung ist gut. Küche hat keinen Backofen, ansonsten Basisausstattung ok. Leider hält der nächste Nachbar ca. 30 Hunde, die den halben Tag jaulen und kläffen, weil sie schlecht behandelt werden. Ansonsten hört man nur den Wind, die freilaufendende Hähne der kleinen (eigenen) Tierhaltung und ab und zu das kleine Windrad. Super Fernblick, jenseits von allem, sehr gut zum Abschalten.

Amazing family time

We spent 3 weeks at the house with our two sons (2,5 years and 3 months). It was the most amazing time. Our hosts really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and help us with our every wish. The location of the house is idea for anyone seeking quiet, serenity and mountain views. Also all animal lovers will appreciate the small farm behind the house (our son loved helping to feed the animals daily). The house is very clean, offering everything one needs. Particularly the outside kitchen is amazing. All the most beautiful beaches, south and north, are reachable within max. 1h drive. It's such a great place - we are already planning our next trip to the house.

Tolles Objekt fernab vom Tourismus

Sehr schöne abgelegene Villa fernab vom Tourismus. Trotz Corona hatten wir einen wundervollen Urlaub. Die Hygienemaßnahmen sind auf Fuerteventura einfach perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben und betreut gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen für Ruhesuchende.

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour sur cette île typique, une très belle découverte, de plus l'accueil qui nous a été réservé a été très attentionné, et la villa Margarita est vraiment une oasis au milieu de nulle part avec tout le confort et très bien situé !!! Perfect!

Our family of two parents and two teenagers spent two fantastic weeks at Villa Margarita. The house is located in a beautiful hilly setting from which it is easy to drive to any part of the island. The house itself is wonderful. The two double bedrooms are well separated so that no noise will bother the occupants of the other room, although the cries of a younger child would be easily audible. The pool allowed us to spend some days relaxing at the house. House is very clean and the interior is easy to maintain. The kitchen has good kitchen knives, cutlery, gas cooker etc. There is no oven but there is a great barbecue outdoors provided with firewood. As important as any quality at Villa Margarita, the landlords (Alejandro and his mother Alejandra) are the most hospitable and friendly I have known in my experience of renting villas in the Canaries. They only visit the villa individually to tend to the animals briefly and to check that all is well e.g. if you need new sheets, towels etc. or if you want advice. They won’t bother you if you prefer them not to. Alejandra grows vegetables and generously brought us fresh courgettes and lettuce. We have rented villas on every island in the Canaries and we have never felt more welcome than at Villa Margarita! The nearest beach (El Molinito) is a 20 minute drive. Beaches on the east coast can be reached in 30-40 minutes (depending on the beach) on smooth roads with very little traffic; driving on them is a pleasure. The beaches in the very south of the island might take an hour to get to (we didn’t go that far on our recent visit as there are many quiet and beautiful beaches within easy reach). For context, our idea of a good beach is one that is uncrowded, where swimming and snorkelling are good, and where there is perhaps one beach restaurant that includes fresh fish on the menu. As northern Europeans during the pandemic we found the house’s relative isolation and the island in general a very welcome break from the routine of home. Islanders and visitors are, of course, very sensible about wearing masks, using sanitiser and practising social distancing, but eating in outdoor restaurants was very welcome and it felt safe. Whether you visit the island for walking or for beaches, Villa Margarita is very highly recommended!

Un trocito de paraiso

Buscábamos tranquilidad, autenticidad y contacto con los verdaderos majoreros y lo encontramos todo!! La casa está escondida en un rincón del pueblo, aislada pero muy cerca de todos los pequeños comercios. Es muy acogedora, con sus terracitas para tomar el sol, su piscina. Disfrutamos mucho de las pequeñas conversaciones con Alejandra cuando venía a cuidar sus animales por la mañana, es un encanto de mujer!!! Siempre disponible, conoce su isla perfectamente y nos dió consejos para disfrutar más todavía. Gracias a ella nos llevamos un queso de su sobrina, es riquísimo!! Authentisch und entspannt!

Das Haus, der Pool und der Garten sind sehr geschmackvoll und sehr sauber angelegt und eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und ermöglicht einen entspannten, stressfreien aber auch authentischen Aufenthalt. Wir waren begeistert vom typisch kanarisches Ambiente. Die Tiere hinterm Haus fanden unsere Kids spaßig und spannend. Die Lage in der Inselmitte ist geschickt, so sind alle Ausflugsziele in überschaubarer Zeit zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und diskret, und die Zufriedenheit der Gäste ist ihnen ein sehr großes Anliegen. Bei (An-)Fragen antworten und kümmern sie sich umgehend! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!!! Vielen Dank

Schön gelegene FeWo und sehr nette Betreuung.

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr schön am Ende eines Tals. In der Nähe gibt es nur eine kleine Tierhaltung und etwas entfernt noch ein paar Wohnhäuser. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, WiFi, ein großes Bad, viele Sitzecken ums Haus, etc. Die Tiere, Katzen, Hühner, Esel, Ziegen laufen frei herum. Mir persönlich haben die Hähne etwas zu schaffen gemacht, weil sie schon in der Nacht mit ihrem Gekrähe begannen. Ach ja, und der Pool war super. Auto notwendig und guter Ausgangspunkt im Zentrum der Insel. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Und zum Schluss noch mal herzlichen Dank an Alexanda für ihre herzliche Betreuung.

Well positioned to tour the island and for hill walking

We really enjoyed our stay. If you don't like animals go elsewhere. If you do like animals you will love it. We were greeted everyday by 6 cats and half a dozen roaming chickens with their cockerals. There are donkeys, sheep and goats, and in the distance lots of dogs. Nicely remote but not far from a main road or super market in Antigua. The owner is very friendly.

Brilliant holiday in a quiet valley

The clean, spacious and comfortable house is in a beautiful location for walking in the hills, while also having reliable WiFi. The villa's garden is an oasis in the middle of stony hills, with the lawn and trees kept alive by care and attention from the owner Alejandra. As described by other reviewers, there are cats, goats, sheep and hens/cockerels which wander around the ground, and add to the sense of being away from it all. There was everything we needed in the villa (no oven, but that did not detract from our holiday). A car is essential to drive the 10 to 15 mins to the supermarket to buy food (and drinking water - the desalinated water found on this island will not be to everyone's taste). For us a wonderful site for walking, cycling and photography in December.

Un lieu attachant dans la campagne de Fuerteventura

Nous avons passé ici les deux semaines de nos vacances d'hiver (Noël et Nouvel An). Nous recherchions un endroit calme, de bon confort, proche d'activités de découvertes dans le centre de l'île (nous avions fait un premier séjour l'an dernier plus dans le nord). Et nous l'avons parfaitement trouvé ! La maison se trouve dans un lieu à l'écart du tourisme de masse, dans une vallée au sud de Valle de Santa Ines ; on y arrive par une petite route en cul-de-sac, puis par une courte piste de 200m (tout à fait praticable). Le plus proche voisin se trouve à cette distance environ. Donc, c'est le calme complet ! Avec un supplément écolo puisque l'électricité est fournie par des panneaux solaires et une éolienne (aucun problème de fourniture électrique durant le séjour), puisque les fils électriques s'arrêtent au hameau voisin. A l'extérieur, plusieurs endroits sont possibles pour s'installer : devant l'entrée (avec une table ayant la forme de l'île !), autour de la piscine (aïe, à cette époque, eau froide!) ou à l'arrière, près du barbecue (à nouveau avec table et chaises). L'intérieur est vaste et confortable, avec un équipement suffisant (parfois un peu vieillissant dans la cuisine), et des fournitures diverses abondantes (serviettes de bain, etc.). Une petite réserve: un chauffage électrique serait utile en hiver dans la salle de bains. Dans le séjour, un poêle à pellets permet de faire face aux soirées un peu fraîches de cette même saison. Pour ceux qui aiment les animaux, il y a de quoi être heureux, puisque la propriétaire a installé sa "ménagerie" dans le terrain au-dessus de la maison : deux ânes, deux chèvres, trois moutons, des poules et des coqs (à l'horlogerie un peu bizarre parfois, avec des cocoricos en soirée ...), canards, ... et 7 chats (5 petits), que nous avons attirés avec des croquettes. Bel accueil de la propriétaire, à l'écoute des demandes éventuelles. La villa est bien située, au centre de l'île, avec un accès facile et rapide pour les choses à voir et à faire dans l'île. Elle se trouve sur l'itinéraire du GR 131, qui traverse toute l'île du nord au sud. Le site le plus lointain (et le plus beau), la plage de Cofete, est à environ 1h45 de route. La (sauvage) côte occidentale est à 10 km à vol d'oiseau (attention, peu d'accès directs). Au niveau pratique, un petit supermarché Dino se trouve à Antigua, à 8 km. Un lieu de séjour idéal, donc, pour ceux qui recherchent autre chose que les hôtels-usines à touristes de la côte.
