Bay View Park è una comunità privata al confine con Fenwick Island State Park che offre molte attività all'aperto divertenti. Scopri la bellezza naturale della baia e del canale di Assawoman in kayak o SUP Board o in barca nel vicino Miller’s Creek e nel rifugio della fauna selvatica di Assawoman. Circa 5 miglia a sud si trova Ocean City, MD con uno dei migliori passerelle negli Stati Uniti! Goditi giostre, giochi, cibo, mini golf e divertimento in famiglia! Per un periodo più tranquillo, guida alcune miglia a nord verso il centro e la passerella di Bethany Beach e goditi i suoi pittoreschi negozi, ristoranti e molte attività settimanali sul lungomare tra cui serate di film per famiglie, fiere artigianali e altro ancora. Lo shopping esente da imposte attende presso gli outlet Tanger Factory a Rehoboth Beach. Tanto da fare in questa zona, ti consigliamo di rimanere più di una settimana.

Yearly beach trip

We had a wonderful stay! My in-laws and my family enjoyed this lovely house. The beach was close and pretty much our beach fot the times we went. Being right on the water is do calming and duch a nice thing to wake up to!

Making Beach/Canal Memories

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Georgo Beach Home. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids. The relaxing porch overlooking the canal was a nice addition. We also had fun kayaking while watching a sunset and all the native animals. Most of the time we could be found enjoying the spacious and uncrowded beach. It took us about 15-20 minutes from door to plopping down on the beach with littles in tow. The hike with the wagon on the sand was a bit strenuous as there isn’t a planked path but we managed just fine. There are many amenities from the kitchen to outdoor items that made our vacation that much easier. Some minor updates would be the cherry on top (not much room for towels in the bathrooms, shower hose needed downstairs and some fresh caulking around tub/new shower curtain, and an outdoor shower stall vs just the shower hose allowing for complete rinsing off after a day at the beach- less sand in the house/tub). We had so many adventures and will smile from the memories that were made. Thank you Jim for sharing your amazing home with us.

Wonderful Bayside Spot in Bethany

This was our first time staying at the Delaware beaches and we were more than pleasantly surprised! Jim's home was lovely and exactly what we needed for our family! This home really provides the best of both worlds. Bay access right in the backyard - we brought some paddleboards and utilized the kayaks at the house - and then the beach in close distance. As someone who who is more accustomed the the Jersey shore, South Bethany was such a nicer experience! It had more of the OBX vibe that we love and is an area we'll be coming back to for years to come. Jim was a great host and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had during our stay.

Quiet, comfortable stay

Very well maintained home in the quiet Bay View neighborhood in South Bethany. Great deck for time outside. Very well equipped for all your needs, inside and out. Owner is very responsive!

Great Place

This property has 2 levels - 2 Bedroom + bath on each level. It would be perfect for for 2 small families. It's very quiet which is just what we were looking for. Also, many restaurants and shoppes are near by so you don't have to do much driving once you're there. The Host, Jim, is easy to get ahold of should you need him.

Beach vacation 2022

My family enjoyed our stay at your house. It was just the right size for 5 adults and 2 children. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was convienant to have 2 parking passes for the beach lot. Also liked the use of kayaks and the fire pit.

One of the best vacations!

Our vacation was wonderful from start to finish! From communication with the owner, Jim, to the cleanest vacation home we’ve ever walked into! You truly feel like you are in a home away from home. The location is perfect! Close to the beach and on the canal to enjoy kayaking and fishing. This home is so well stocked, from the kitchen, to the board games, to the kayaks and all the beach items you need to enjoy your week. I can’t say enough about this place. We have named it our little piece of heaven! Thank you Jim for an amazing stay!

Beach 2022

The house was very nice. We ended up with a smaller group than planned but the house was not too big for 2. The house sleeps 10 but that might be cramped. We travel with our dog and he has trouble with his legs and hip. There are 19 steps from the ground to the house and that was a little much for the pup but I usually help him up steps. Also the stones around the house are hard on his feet. All in all we enjoyed our trip as always.

Great Family Getaway

Jim was a gracious host. The house was great - we're a large family and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. Sitting on the deck overlooking the water drinking morning coffee or having drinks at night was wonderful. We took the kayaks out and the views were amazing. I would recommend this house! Great Property, great owner/host!

We had a wonderful stay at the Georgo Beach House. The house was very clean and well stocked. At other rentals we had to bring so many of our own things, but this house is nicely stocked with almost everything you need for your stay. Hand soap, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, etc all were available. Super easy check in and check out. The owner/host is super responsive and understanding. This is a great place to stay!

Perfection!!!

Our second stay at this property and it was even better. The new deck chairs are wonderful and the addition of kayaks today made every day an adventure for my three teenagers. My son hasn’t left the house since the pandemic started and he was out at least three times a day on that kayak! The owner made sure we had the Olympics added to the Roku account so we could watch everything we missed while we were out in the evenings, there were tons of fun games in the drawer for us to play, which we definitely took advantage of and there were things in the house that we wanted to use but ran out of time- like the crab traps and the beautiful grill sitting there beckoning us. I really think we need to consider two weeks next year!

A Perfect Stay

Arrived at an extremely clean cottage with everything as described. My daughter and her husband enjoyed the privacy of having a bedroom upstairs while we stayed downstairs from the living room and turned in early. The beach is beautiful here - a wide expanse of sand. We were grateful to have the use of the kayaks and used them to explore the bay. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor grill worked wonderfully. It was a great hassle-free vacation.

Wonderful house in a great little community!

We could not have had a more pleasant experience with our stay. When we arrived, the place had just been very thoroughly cleaned. We loved lounging out on the deck most of the day. The community is very nice to walk around in, with great views of the bay. Lots of beach equipment in the garage. The beach is only a 10 minute or so walk,and you have the option of parking closer as well. Great little dog friendly area, and the beach was practically deserted! Everything we needed (except linens and food obviously) was included in the house. We didn’t have any issues, but the owner was very communicative when we did need him. We will hopefully be back this same time next year!

relaxing weekend with family

Wonderful, comfortable home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood surrounded by water views. Comfortably accommodated 5 adults; kitchen well equipped and plenty of room for seating around the table as well as in the living area. Large deck facing west with sunset views. Easy access to both bay and ocean and close to amenities. James was a gracious and helpful host, quick to respond to questions. We really enjoyed ourselves and are planning to return next year!

Perfect Spot for our COVID Getaway

A group of us from NYC and Maryland met here to have some semblance of a relaxing vacation despite COVID travel restrictions. There were 5 of us in the house but it could have easily comfortably fit 4 more, and the space was perfect...we had more than enough room for everyone to eat/play games together, the walk to the beach was 5 minutes, (maybe 10 pushing the beach cart), and the grill on the deck and fully stocked kitchen meant we didn't have to worry about going anywhere besides the grocery store (though the house is super conveniently located to nearby boardwalks and strips for when it's not COVID times and social distancing is less of a concern). There were also beach chairs and an umbrella we borrowed for the beach along with other beach stuff, and crabbing equipment that we (successfully!) used off the back dock. House was clean when we arrived and Jim both checked to make sure our check-in went OK and responded to my (only) question within maybe 10 minutes. Check in was also super easy and it was overall an absolutely wonderful stay; we couldn't recommend more highly!

Great place - Great time

If you like the convenience of your boat docked outside your door, a beautiful beach down the street and a comfortable place for your family to unwind - this is the spot. Many thanks to Jim for his helpful area tips on where to launch the boat to dock n dines to periodic check-in texts. We had a great time.
