Everyone I encountered on the staff was very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was good and, due to an efficient booking system was cooked to order, fast and not crowded. There were a couple of things about the bathroom, which was tiny, that I did not understand. The shower had no soap dish or anywhere to put the shampoo or body wash except on the floor. “Good rooms. Great restaurant onsite where I ate every evening. On my 1st day, I arrived past 9pm when kitchen was already closing but they still made me food which was nice. Location is not in the center of the town but this should obvious to anyone by looking at the map. The hotel is close to some nice hiking trails. Great place to rest after exploring Wales.”

“Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod. A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. “All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! “This was a wonderful weekend getaway! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The staff, Claire and Nigel, are so kind and welcoming and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality! The views are fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring northern Wales and even western England. We will for sure be coming again! They also have alpacas and ducks and chickens which we enjoyed greeting each day! Breakfast was filling and phenomenally prepared, made-to-order.”
