“Check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean, although it only had a small window there was a door to the courtyard we could open. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower was fine and there was a good beverage tray with biscuits. Breakfast was quite chaotic with food not being replenished and tables not being cleared and cleaned. However the cooked breakfast was tasty.”

“Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod. A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. Only improvement is the quality of the packed lunches, which were a little uninspiring for £12.50!”

“Room was small but had everything I needed and was clean and well maintained. Everyone I encountered on the staff was very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was good and, due to an efficient booking system was cooked to order, fast and not crowded. “This was a wonderful weekend getaway! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The staff, Claire and Nigel, are so kind and welcoming and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality! The views are fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring northern Wales and even western England. We will for sure be coming again! They also have alpacas and ducks and chickens which we enjoyed greeting each day! Breakfast was filling and phenomenally prepared, made-to-order.”
