“We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). “Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough...

“Take this review with a grain of salt as I was not there to enjoy nature but on a work trip. Although I could not explore all the area has to offer I thought coming back after work to a waterfront cabin sounded lovely. Unfortunately, the cabin is not water front nor the water accessible from the cabin. You can see the river across the street, to access it, you must walk down the road, across a bridge and down a hill. Little too many bugs inside and out for me and not just mosquitoes and things...
