You can find better

I came here to celebrate my 30th. I was beyond mortified by all the signs about charging you $6 per towel if you dirty it. It felt like I was in a hostile at 23. There is a hefty cleaning fee but an insane list of chores to do before you leave. I understand the neighbors probably hate being next to a rental but the signs to literally go inside and stop talking at 10pm was crazy. The best part we spent 2k for 3 nights and the listing tells you they will not supply past 1 toilet paper roll. They tell you they will give you 1 TP roll, 1 paper towel roll and you must clean and bring your own supplies. I wish I spent it at another property that didn't feel so cheap for 2k. I was embarrassed with all the dorm room/ hostile signs and having to tell my guest to bring their own TP, salt, pepper, paper towels, and to stop talking outside by 10p. They give you a sheet of fines the first one is $500 then it's $1,000. It felt like they wanted someone to break the rules so they could fine them. Literally the most anxious stay ever. I ended up wanting to celebrate another weekend because this wasn't it.

The house was dirty and had a smell to it like it wasn't cleaned for months. The shower had mold along the door. The house was not worth the price point since it hadn't been updated or cleaned. The hot tub and location were the only plus sides of the property.

Upper Moonridge

Nice rustic cabin. Great hot tub. My kids loved it. My only knock is that the drive way is something to navigate.

Old and worn out. Chairs broken - past of the hot tub broken - not a well maintained property - wife spent 2 hours cleaning the pans and dishes

Beautiful view and lovely neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay. The home has an amazing view and upper deck, it’s in a fantastic neighborhood and has a gated backyard for the pup. A nice cozy cabin vibe and a really lovely management company. We had a great time!

Review of stay

The place overall was pretty nice. I would recommend the cabin. Sirena was very helpful in helping us switch the reservation since there was a double booking. They were able to give us an upgrade and lower the price which I thought was good.

Great little get away

Was upgraded so my review is not for Canyon Crest but wanted to say that the management company was awesome. They had a maintenance issue with our original house and they upgraded us for no charge and they were super responsive during our stay! Would def recommend them in the future!

Great Socially Distanced Vacation Spot

Wonderful cabin, we loved the hot tub on the deck. Clean and comfortable. Everything was where is was suppose to be so we didn't need to contact the hosts. Close to the ski hills too, excellent location. Dog loved the nice fenced back yard. The entry to the yard from upstairs and downstairs made it wasy to let him in and out.

Great Cabin. Plenty of space

We stayed for a few days over presidents weekend and it was perfect. We had our 3 young children and it was a good amount of space, the living area was big and enough room to play, and the kids loved the wrap around patio. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Deck view & hot tub worth the stay!

I loved walking up to see that view off the deck everyday 😍plus the hot tub after a long day of hiking was so perfect! Close to town & trails... only thing is the cleanliness could’ve been a bit better, the remotes were sticky & there were pet hairs on the top layers of bedding & throw pillows, so I’m not sure if they’d been washed? overall great stay & would come back!

The rooms were dark and dusty

The rooms were dark and dusty and the bed sheets were really and had. Lot of dust on them. Felt like was breathing in so much dust every time we would move bed sheets.

Beware BED BUGS!!!

We stayed two nights at this location to visit the beautiful snow and our entire family was bitten terribly by bed bugs! We contacted management and they stated they just replaced the mattresses (wonder why?) but clearly there is an infestation in the entire house as each family member slept in different rooms and were bitten with over three dozen bites. Management declined to respond if they had professionals come out after we left the property, only stating they “looked” in the rooms and found no evidence of bed bugs. We paid above the normal price range and expected better communication and transparency. I would only hope they do a complete and professional cleaning. If they replaced mattresses but didn’t bother throwing away headboards and treating the entire house I’m afraid bedbugs will be a continued problem. Very disappointed in the response from management and their lack of concern regarding the bed bug issue. Would NOT recommend this property or the Big Bear Lakefront Cabin property management team.

It was nice but cut short due to the Cherry Valley fire smoke that was headed our direction

It was a great property. The hill to get to the front door was very steep - we bottomed out twice going up and down.

Great views! but thats it..

Fantastic views from the patio.. really enjoyed that part. The property is really old and needs some help NOW. - If you dont bolt the front door, it will open up in a few minutes. - Checkin process.. good lord! they want you to come to the office to checkin. which is OK. BUT make sure the person who is the first to get the keys is on the reservation. I had no idea this was the case and one person in my party was getting there before us and it was a night mare to get that person to be able to checkin. - Checkin part 2: They wanted my ID and Credit card to be sent to them via email. NOPE. not happening - The property has only 1 bathroom. the other "bathroom" has only a toilet. So having 7 ppl wait in line to take a shower in the morning was fun. - Most other cabins i have rented out had some amount of toiletries. All this place had was hand soap. No body wash, etc. Not a big deal.. - checkout: i was asked to come to the office to provide my ID sinice some one else had checked in.. OK.. no biggie.. but when i got there, there was no indication that this office was located at the address. It was a hot tub installation office. And it was closed. so i called and someone came and opened the door. and then their computer would not work. So i ended up writing the last 4 of my CC on a piece of paper and left Overall.. views are good. Property is not so good. Check In/Check out is HORRIBLE! Would not go back again.
