“Nice place, the grounds are beautiful. We saw deer & turkeys in the morning. Our hostess Rose is charming and gave us a tour of the whole place. WiFi was good because cell service/5g is sketchy at best in the area. Overall great place to stay!”

“Hosts were very nice and communicative and they allowed an early check in because of a snow storm. However, the cabin was very dirty. The prior guest had been staying there for two months with a dog prior to our arrival and it was not adequately cleaned. There was dog hair covering the couch. The couch and pillows smelled like dog. “Delightful. Brendan is a treasure. Comfortable sitting areas downstairs and porch was wonderful. It may be continental breakfast but lots of great options - you won’t leave hungry. They have done a great job of preserving Victorian charm - woodwork and stained glass. This is now my go to bnb in the area.”

“This was an extremely delightful stay for end of summer! Great setting with beautiful grounds, easy to get anywhere in Hunter and all the other nearby towns. Stayed in a King loft which was great, lots of room to relax, very clean and well maintained. It was very handy to have a mini-fridge and microwave, but also enjoyed dinner downstairs at the Tavern. The complementary breakfast hit just right before hitting the road for the day.”

“Very cute and quiet place. It is literally down in the holler so we had no cell service or Internet. A connection was offered but said could be limited and we had no luck getting connected. If you don't mind being off grid you will love it. I certainly didn't!!!”
