Hotel vicino a Big Marine Park Reserve - Minneapolis - St. Paul

“The staff was amazing. Very professional, and polite. It is hard to find such wonderful customer service in most industries these days, but these ladies were all above spectacular...... The Hot tub was not working, but the pool was. A little chilly, but refreshing.... Room was clean....”

“I was very disappointed! We had 2 rooms reserved there were no hangers in either room and when I called the front desk to request hangers I had to go up to the desk to get them and was only given 3 hangers total. She said that was all she had! The first morning there we realized we had no spare TP roll so we actually had to call for another roll. The floors in the rooms had not been cleaned and were gritty to walk on. The hallways smelled nasty. The mattresses had definitely seen better days....

“Everything about the room and property was beautiful, the craftsmanship was so meticulous, and the property was very clean and well maintained. Easy entry, peaceful surroundings, and an amazing turn of the century atmosphere!”

“The older rooms and lobby didn’t really capture the vintage vibe - they were just dated and the carpets were worn and dirty. Musty and damp in the rooms and towels were older and not absorbent. Great location but rooms not worth the amount we spent.”

“Coffee was horrible, one day no coffee at 7:45am, eggs were cold, staff was rude. Tiles in bathroom were loose. Old building not well maintained. We have to go to Chisago a couple more times and will definitely get hotel closer to MinneapolisWould rather drive 45 minutes than stay there again.”

“Check in was easy, although no elevator to the 2nd floor which.may sound petty but can be many trips back and forth to your car. The room was clean, bed comfortable. The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was low.. Coffee was good, breakfast ok, nothing spectacular.”

“Awful experience. We will never return to that hotel again. Somali manager was very rude and disrespectful to us when he could have easily spoken to us like a normal human being. Room looked clean also but stunk of something else that im unsure of so obviously not as clean as it should be and honestly we definitely overpaid for the hotel.”

“I absolutely love this hidden gem!!! Staff is so kind and helpful, they never hesitate to make sure our stay is as comfortable as possible!!!! Breakfast was yuuuummmmmy!!!! Egg rounds and sausage, breads, cereal, hardboiled eggs, some days biscuits and gravy (all days fried potatoes, just microwave them a smidge bit and they'll be perfect!)... Bath towels were the softest and best I've EVER experienced at a hotel! Hubby and 5 y/o (on the spectrum) had a BLAST in the pool! they have an outside...
