Hotel a Marine on St. Croix

“It was a nice and clean hotel. I would stay there again.”

“Coffee was horrible, one day no coffee at 7:45am, eggs were cold, staff was rude. Tiles in bathroom were loose. Old building not well maintained. We have to go to Chisago a couple more times and will definitely get hotel closer to MinneapolisWould rather drive 45 minutes than stay there again.”

“Someone else said old but well maintained. They were correct. I walked into the room and the AC was off. It was about 80 in the room. No odd smell. Just hot. The AC cooled it down quickly and efficiently. The sheets were soft. Choice of flat or fat pillows. Bed was hard, but at least it was clean and smell free. I’m picky, and was satisfied”

“We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location.”

“Overpriced. Continental breakfast is bagels cereal and a waffle machine. No hot food other than make your own waffles. No dresser for clothes, phone in room did not work so no way to contact desk. No elevator.”

“The price is right for this property. It is an inexpensive hotel that is fairly clean, and in a good location but lacks much for a continental breakfast. The workers were not rude, but they were not friendly.”

“All vending machines out of order, no elevator to reach second floor. Had to carry luggage up stairs. Don’t think they have a pool, if they do, I wasn’t told where it was. The online pictures are not what it actually is. Sorta reminds me of a rent by the hour motel you see in the movies. Won’t be going back there again.”

“While the room was clean, the bathroom needed quite a bit of work. The way chair was very dusty and old. Breakfast wasn't worth our time. The grounds were overgrown and the lot needed attention. The sign out front was unreadable. We thought, at first, that it was the previous chains facility.”

“This hotel is garbage, I DONT RECOMMEND this to my friend. We paid almost 500$ for 2 nights and then our deposites got deducted another 40$ because they think we’re smoking. Which is we’re not. My husband and I bought a candle for our special night . And then 60$ more because of the bed sheets have stain on it. And the shampoo and soap I don’t have nothing to say .What f kind of hotel is this. Don’t used this hotel for your vacation . NOT GOD AT ALL.”
