“Rooms smelt musty, damp and old. The air conditions in all 3 rooms my family were in looked like the filters have never been cleaned. Disappointed that they were in such bad shape. We've stayed here many times before and they weren't a whole lot better. We will think twice before we stay there again.”

“Overall, the hotel was nice, updated and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I didn’t like the shower head; it needed to be replaced as it was all over the place and not much water pressure. I had to turn the handle all the way and the water wasn’t as hot as it could be. The hotel is right off the highway which is nice but also loud at times. We stayed more towards the opposite end of the highway and could still hear traffic at night. I’d stay here again but would either ask for a room...

“Coffee was horrible, one day no coffee at 7:45am, eggs were cold, staff was rude. Tiles in bathroom were loose. Old building not well maintained. We have to go to Chisago a couple more times and will definitely get hotel closer to MinneapolisWould rather drive 45 minutes than stay there again.”

“Room was clean but there were stains on the fitted sheet and a pillow cover. Not a biggie, nothing a little bleach can't fix, but, still quite obvious. The bed was the best part of the experience, it was comfortable, huge and the pillows were supportive and not paper thin. The AC is a gangster. “I was very disappointed! We had 2 rooms reserved there were no hangers in either room and when I called the front desk to request hangers I had to go up to the desk to get them and was only given 3 hangers total. She said that was all she had! The first morning there we realized we had no spare TP roll so we actually had to call for another roll. The floors in the rooms had not been cleaned and were gritty to walk on. The hallways smelled nasty. The mattresses had definitely seen better days....

“Awful experience. We will never return to that hotel again. Somali manager was very rude and disrespectful to us when he could have easily spoken to us like a normal human being. Room looked clean also but stunk of something else that im unsure of so obviously not as clean as it should be and honestly we definitely overpaid for the hotel.”

“The entire place smelled like they tried to cover up years of wet dog odor by shampooing the carpets and then leaving them damp. They allow dogs, and trust me, you can tell the second you walk through the door. Honestly, I was ready to cut my losses and find a different hotel altogether, but my girlfriend was exhausted and just wanted to be done with it, so we stayed. “I wqs there for 9 days. Staff was great! Room was clean. Breakfast was fresh and well maintained every morning. The Hot tub was out of service the whole week, but they were working on it. I wouldn't use anyway so that part didn't matter to me. Across the parking lot was a very good home cooked food cafe and bakery. I would definetly stay ther again.”
