“Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. “On the Expedia website, it listed this hotel as haveing room for 8 people in the standard room and 13 in the next level room. Also, it listed the standard room as having 4 queen beds. However, initially, I said there were 3 adults and three children ages 12, 17, and 17. Moreover, I messaged the property that we were going to have 4 adults and 3 children. “Excellent sized room and bathroom. Very clean. Organised airport transfers for me. You can even organise canyoneering and Oslob tours with them. Very short walk to the sardine beach and heaps of cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff were fantastic!”
