Sunset Bay Lodge – Newly Remodeled Lake Home on Long Lake

Welcome to Sunset Bay Lodge, a fully updated and beautifully furnished lake home just steps from Long Lake in Birchwood, Wisconsin. Once part of the historic Sunset Resort, this spacious home has been thoughtfully remodeled from top to bottom while still keeping that classic Northwoods charm. It’s the perfect base for a peaceful and fun getaway.

The home features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests.

With high speed Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and an open living area, Sunset Bay Lodge offers the comfort of home with views of the lake. Large windows bring in natural light and give you a front row seat to stunning sunsets. Step outside to enjoy the yard, the dock, or a quiet evening around the fire pit. The property includes a boat slip and has plenty of parking, including space for trailers.

This home is also pet friendly. We welcome up to two dogs with prior approval and an added fee.

A Note About Dogs:

We LOVE dogs and want guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members. That said, please consider whether our home is a good fit for your dog.

We may not be the best choice if your dog:

barks excessively

chews furniture or belongings

wanders unsupervised (yard is not fenced)

is not fully house-trained

Dogs must be supervised at the cabin and crated when left alone. And please pick up after your pets. It is not the responsibility of our cleaning crew.

Need more space? Sunset Bay Lodge can also be rented with Bear Cub Cabin right next door. It’s a perfect setup for families or friends traveling together who want to stay close but have separate sleeping spaces.

Long Lake is a top destination in Wisconsin with 19 miles of water and 99 miles of shoreline. Known as the Walleye Capital of Wisconsin, the lake features boat-up restaurants, scenic sandbars for swimming, and great fishing. Marinas nearby offer gas and bait for your boat.

This home is also located near hundreds of miles of ATV and snowmobile trails and within 30 minutes of several fun towns like Hayward, Rice Lake, Spooner, and Shell Lake. These communities offer shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and more.

This home is intended for quiet family vacations and small group getaways. It is not a party house. Guests must be 25 or older to book.
