“Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square.”

“Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking.”

“Das Hotel ist neu. Aussen noch nicht so gut angeschrieben. Aber mit der Adresse findet man es gut. Wir waren 3 Erwachsene im Zimmer. Da aus dem Sofa ein Bett gemacht wurde, hatten wir nur noch eine Sitzgelegenheit. Ein zusätzlicher Stuhl wäre gut gewesen. Hätten wir aber sicher bekommen, wenn wir danach gefragt hätten. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.”

There was no other choise at 9pm in Bad Bertrich is almost night... Very quiet town with no other interest than the thermal baths and relex for retired people. Very nice indeed. “I book this hotel because they have free shuttle service from/to Hahn airport, but when i call to book, the “”very unfriendly staff”” ask me to call directly the driver, that told me i had to book 2 DAYS IN ADVANCE, WHICH IS, IN MY OPINION, ABSURD !!! The room was not bad, but THERE WERE 4 SPIDERS, and that means they don’t clean Good. In addition the water in the shower was only warm. I’m a very frequent traveller and I won’t suggest this hotel, for this price find something else !! ”

Aber das Frühstück war der eigentliche Star: 7 Sorten Wurst vom Metzger, 14 Sorten Käse, frische Eier, Milchprodukte vom Hof – wir haben uns gefühlt wie auf einem Bauernmarkt mit Hotelbett. Der Tisch war so voll, wir mussten erstmal strategisch planen, was wir zuerst essen.”

“Späte Anreise, herzlicher Empfang Obwohl das Restaurant schon schloss, bekamen wir noch einen wirklich tollen Salatteller zum Begrüßungswein serviert. Unser Zimmer war nur über mehrere Stiegen zu erreichen, nicht schlimm, sollte man aber ggfs wissen und entsprechend bei der Buchung nach einem Erdgeschosszimmer fragen. Unsere Sonderwünsche bei der Buchung wurden berücksichtigt und prompt bestätigt.”
