“The shower rod was broken. The shower curtain would not stay closed. Water was all over the floor, the toilet and the counter. And we were being careful. This could be fixed in less than 30 minutes. The place is run down.”

“There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. “Our weekend getaway at The Lodges Sunset Village was excellent. Loved the quaint atmosphere and cozy cabin. It was a great size for 3. Close shops and eateries near by. Staff was accommodating and prompt. The only suggestion I would give is that when providing the cabin number/addresses to the lake side properties to use cabin5 address for all rooms. “The house was exceptionally beautiful and relaxing. Bedrooms weee cozy with lots of fun perks. Breakfast was awesome and I can’t say enough about the lake views from our room the porches snd the grounds. They also take you on a pontoon boat ride. The staff really made us feel pampered and were very helpful.”

“This was Labor Day Weekend, so the activities were all of of the property except for a Dog Day for the Humane society., with country music. Over all very quiet”
