Joe was an outstanding host, extremely kind and helpful in every way possible. This property really is amazing, with a beautiful view of the waterfall right from the huge wrap around porch. We could not have been more pleased with our stay in Black Mountain!

Awesome mountain retreat

An amazing log cabin in the woods. All the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Even the tissue holder is wood! Kitchen has more amenities than any other rental I have been in. Bedrooms are all very comfy and have views. I highly recommend the Waterfall cabin for a relaxing stay listening to the waterfall.

THE BEST VRBO experience ever! The Hidden Falls cabin is newly constructed, beautifully furnished and stocked with everything you need for a mountain getaway. Top quality bedding & adjustable mattresses made for restful nights. The wraparound deck was great for morning coffee, soaking in the scenic Mountain View’s and peaceful sounds of the waterfall. This is the perfect setting for a family get away. We enjoyed movie nights in the family room on the baseball leather sectional. The giant screen with surround sound had a theater feel, with the bonus of mountain air and waterfall sounds. Just down the circular staircase there is a beautiful pool table and wide selection of board games, along with full size HE washer and dryer. Our family spent hours on the deck. Several of us hiked to the waterfall, crossing a babbling stream with a couple of smaller waterfalls and stopping to take photos of hidden gnomes tucked along the trail. Joe and his daughter were great to work with. We were in town for a family wedding. We were surprised to arrive to a bottle of Prosecco and a lovely card. Ahead of the trip, Joe kept us aware of the weather. He even added leafs to the dining table to make sure our family was comfortable. My husband is in a wheel chair and was able to navigate within the cabin and deck with ease. The driveway was very steep and gravel, so that was a little treacherous, but we were aware in advance and navigated it without issue. Book it & enjoy!

Amazing Engagement Trip

I booked this trip with the goal of having the waterfall to propose to my girlfriend. Not only was the waterfall absolutely perfect, but the cabin blew us away. All of the decor is great and super on theme with a mountain getaway. The downstairs is super fun to hangout in with the arcade games, pool table, and electronic dart board. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils, pots, and pans you could need. The living room is comfy and great for relaxing and watching TV. One of our favorite parts was the wrap around porch where you can sit and look at the beautiful mountains and listen to the waterfall. Overall, it was everything I wanted and more with stunning views and a cozy cabin vibe.
