Ideal base.Comfortable miners end terraced cottage in the dramatic landscape town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.Ideal for walkers & activity packed week/ends ZipWorld,Antur Stiniog(Mountain biking),Mount Snowdon,Caverns Llechwedd.Only 12m to the beach.Portmeirion is approx 20mins by car.Conway Falls is close by and Beddgelert.In the property is WIFI with SKY Entertainment package, NETFLIX .Umbrellas and picnic rucksack available for guests use. Parking for one car only.
Situated centrally in Blaenau Ffestiniog. A comfortable stylish traditional end terraced miners cottage. Soap and anti bac cleaner provided. Warm and welcoming. Surround Sound, Dog Friendly, Small parking space for one car, Boot rack, small enclosed outside seating space with seating for 4 and coffee table. Electric fire in traditional fire place.
Bed linen is included. Please bring your own towels and hand towels. The outside area is small, please see the photos. It is a handy gravelled area which has seating for 4 with a coffee table. Walks and freedom is on the doorstep though which is what Wales is all about.
**Parking is for cars and 4x4s only**. If coming in a van or truck or anything larger than a 5 seater car please find on road parking. There is plenty in the area although a small walk to the property may be required.
Kitchen with DAB radio and nepresso style coffee machine. A selection of board games and books for those rest periods.

All appliances PAT tested and boiler serviced annually for your safety
You may never need to turn the tv on but its nice to have the option if the weather stops you from being so active outdoors. TV with SKY Entertainment and NETFLIX.

Nature
We aim to keep the house free from spiders and bugs. You may however see a rogue spider or bug that's got away. Please be kind and place it outside. I have had to include this nature part about spiders. It only takes 10 minutes for a spider to cast a web.

Fantastic holiday home

The house was perfect and well equipped. Good sized kitchen with essentials provided. Great extra little things thought out like, spare umbrellas, flasks, plenty of blankets, and games for kids. Great location with beaches, mountains and slate mines all within 20/30 mins drive and all the zip worlds close by. Jill was so communicative before the stay providing loads of info on the area. House was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

The property was perfectly located for the Zip-World site which is why we had selected it. The property was spacious, and had a very well stocked kitchen so you could easily prepare food there. If you have more than one car, it can be difficult as it is a very small street and parking is limited. Thankfully, once you are parked it is only a 15 minute walk into the town centre. We travelled in October and the property was quite cold when you first came in or returned, but it had a good central heating system and fire to keep it cosy - along with lots of blankets.

Nice Cottage

Nice cottage. Good facilities. Had to empty coffee machine of old pods. Sometimes getting into parking space a nightmare with the parking of other vehicles. Overall the experience was good.

Post lockdown escape

We stayed for a long weekend and although the weather was not the best at times we still throughly enjoying our stay! It's a great location for exploring the coast and the mountains and dramatic scenery. It was lovely to have some welcome gifts including Bara Brith, Welsh cakes and some hand made soap from Beddgelert. Everything was clean and tidy and have everything you needed. We would stay again

Lovely home from home in Blaenau Festiniog, perfect for exploring the area.

The cottage is a lovely, cosy base, perfect for exploring the many attractive in the area. Jill was an amazing host, her communication was exceptional throughout, we were thrilled to find a welcome package waiting for us, traditional welsh cakes, local soap, snacks etc. The cottage was very spacious and modern and Jill ensured that the heating was left on for our arrival. The cottage is ideally placed to explore the many local attractions such as Zip World, the slate caverns, Barmouth, Snowdon etc. We would throughly recommend staying there and will most definitely be returning.
