“It was okay, the roof though does need cleaned”

“I showed up and they told me one of my rooms wasn't booked and the entire hotel was full. I had my confirmation right in front of me and kept telling her I had two confirmed booked rooms. She told me to call Expedia. After about 2 minutes of this and her manager does not answer the phone, me on the verge of tears thinking our trip was ruined, she simply said 'oh, I found it!'. This was after I'd called ahead to confirm payment stuff with them multiple times prior to arriving.”

“Loved that the owner shared the history of the house, it was well preserved and beautiful. Room was great and each room had a corresponding private bath with toiletries, towels, and even robes. Location was perfect for walkability and breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“My room was spotless. Staff were friendly and efficient on a very busy weekend. The breakfast buffet was ready on time and included foods for a variety of eaters (eggs, sausage, waffle station, yogurt, fruit, cereal). Parking was free, easy, and convenient. Thumbs up all around.”

“Only thing I saw wrong was trash out back was overflowing in both cans, otherwise place was great. Soft beds, large room, clean, friendly and helpful staff”

“I was a single person traveling that ended up with a room with a double bed and was asked to only use one bed. I've never and all of my 59 years had any hotel or motel Tell me not to use the second bed.”

“If you are looking for a unique experience in a beautiful older home, this is the place in Mt. Pleasant. Very quiet when we stayed. We will definitely be back vs. staying in a hotel. Service was very friendly checking in and out.”

“The hot tub is an odd design and I feel the steps into it are extremely unsafe. Also the it was not very strong when turned on . ”
