“Started off a little shaky! No one at the front desk and the phone was ringing off the wall, however the daughter of the front staff was there and contacted her Mom who arrived quickly. She sincerely apologized for the delay. We checked in and moved on with our stay. Our room was clean and plenty of towels and washcloths but no bath soap! The pool appeared clean and well maintained. Our breakfast was very good and our hostess, Sherry, was very attentive to our needs. Coffee was hot and...

“Extremely filty room, rust and brown water came out of the shower every time it was first turned on, carpet sticky and smelly, half of the lights and the electrical outlets were not working or missing bulbs, air conditioner extremely noisy and did not cool room, all surfaces grimy and dirty. Missing TV remote and refrigerator was not working. Spiders appeared in the bathroom during the night. “Highly recommend staying at the Dixie Motel! The owners have thought of everything from fantastic water pressure in the shower to freshly made tea and other snacks in the fridge. The room was very clean and homey.”
