Beautiful property. The artwork,the chapel, the wine grotto, the waterfall all elevate the property to another level. We stayed for a week and most restaurants were closed except the steakhouse.

I would not stay here again, one reason is at Check in - we had a homeless person asking us for money at the check in counter-no staff to assist us at this very uncomfortable time. We found out later she does this often?? This confused the check in person, so she did not give us standard customary hotel information. The room was very small (city type). No place to put our 2nd suitcase, so it was placed on the floor in the pathway to the bathroom. Many large holes in the foyer ceiling. Ask for a room on the street side away from the loud central AC unit that ran all night. Add $50.00 for parking plus tips - this was not listed in my reservation info (Thank you Expedia) We could not pay for parking at the front desk during check out - it had to be done on the street (uncomfortable/unsecure to use a CC reader on the street, so I used cash). Good points - clean room, but as stated very small, nice staff, good location for the ball parks, security people in many of the local hotel and restaurant front doors (I am not sure if that will help you feel safe or not - it helped us feel safer) Nice people in the area.
