“Lovely home, but actually even nicer people! Karen & George are the near perfect B&B Hosts, beautiful people with great stories to share, invisible for much of your stay, but right there when you are in need of anything. Breakfast was a good cut above the norm and accompanied by the host’s warmth. These people care about what they do and want nothing more than to ensure you enjoy your short stay in The County. As a total package the Runaway Rooster is a tough to compare. ”

“We decided to spend our honeymoon in PEC, staying at the Runaway Rooster for 4 nights. Karen & George were super welcoming and great to communicate with. Knowing of our recent special occasion, they were kind enough to greet us with a local fave Rose wine, chilled and ready for us upon arrival. “The home was beautiful, welcoming and filled with eclectic art. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the hot tub was delightful after a long day of walking and sightseeing. We found the house a little chilly and could not adjust the thermostat. A quick text to the owner and the problem was resolved in minutes. The fireplace was not working though.
