“We like older hotels with eccentric nostalgia . The bed was comfortable, we liked no TV, the old pictures, the stairs and creaking hall way. The view from the restaurant was outstanding as the breakfast sandwich. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. If you want a pool and weight room etc go to Denver.”

“Ask about room sizes if that might be an issue- my room was 4 feet wider than the bed. No mini-fridge, a horrible little screaming hot hair dryer. The fire doors were held open by magnet releases, & I closed them all immediately (I'm a firefighter but also a breaker technician, & those mechanisms rely on a lot of regularly-tested and verified intercommunication to actually function, otherwise fire will be fueled much more aggressively and spread from floor to floor). “The room was as basic as it gets. There was no in-room coffee or tea. Coffee was served out of a big cylindrical coffee maker in the lobby. No morning breakfast. The website said they had memory foam mattresses but my room was a spring mattress…..and this is really weird, the spring bed mattress was turned upside down so that you would be laying on the unpadded bottom. Why would they do that? The room was also just marginally clean. The best things about the room was the off-season price and...

“My and my friends had the worst time at this hotel. The pool was under construction, and the entire hotel was so cold that the front office gentleman was wearing a coat the whole time. My partner is allergic to the cold and had such a bad reaction we had to leave the hotel early to take her to the hospital. I honestly would love a refund. This was an awful experience. ”
