Overall a bit of a disappointment. Having stayed a multiple Hyatt hotels over the years, we expected better or $400 per night. Nothing that made the room inhabitable but missing trim, frayed carpet, a bathroom door that barely slide on the track, peeling paint in the bathroom - just not the quality we are used to seeing at Hyatt. The pool, breakfast, and overall service was good though.

We had an upgraded high floor room King bed that was directly across the hallway from an open door room with an ice machine that was as loud as a freight train all night long our first night. Additionally the room had a musty smell, and the couch had a number of stains on it. We changed rooms the next morning, but they didn’t have an equivalent room ( switched to lower floor with 2 queens instead of king). Breakfast was included, but was very mediocre and difficult to find a table to sit at. Location was good.

I went to hotels in Egypt that outdid the Hyatt in service, cleanliness and breakfast! 1. no transportation available 2. the breakfast is embarrassing- the items combined are worth $5 and I paid a ridiculously high amount for an ordinary room. 3. The guy across the hall had a yelping small dog 4. Overpriced and underserved. 5. Never again will I go to another Hyatt

Room size was great. Didn’t get enough soap or any shampoo or water until we asked for it. There was no safe in the room which is unacceptable at a property in this price range. Breakfast was plentiful &, although some of it was unpalatable, there was enough decent stuff to fill us up. Bathrooms need magnifying mirrors. Staff was very nice.

Our stay at this hotel was not as expected. Since this is a Hyatt hotel our expectations were a lot higher. The room was small, and the bed was really uncomfortable. Our view out the window was of the city but before we even could look at it, we had to try and overlook a black dirty roof. My mother got back pain from laying on that uncomfortable bed, so we had to cut our stay short. The carpet didn't look very clean and there was a big stain on the couch, and it looked like a child scribbled on one of the walls. The bathroom sink would leak from the behind the faucet and the top of the vanity would get wet constantly. The towels were like sandpaper and of horrible quality, as were the toiletries. Speaking of which we had to ask for more because we were only provided with a small amount. Even the toilet paper was horrible!! When we tried to use the pool, it had been raining for the past few days and the water from the pool was overflowing from it. Mangement should have done something to request maintenance at the pool to reduce the water. Breakfast was okay but there wasn't very much of a variety. It was pretty much the same thing every morning. Main dish was scrambled eggs. It would have been nice if they changed it up some days with having omelets on one day and Quiche or fried eggs on another day. The staff was okay, but they weren't that friendly. They should be more welcoming and more accommodating towards their guests.

Location is very convenient downtown Boca. Easy parking and access from garage into hotel if you have the roomkey. Breakfast included, its not exceptional but it is good enough if you stay longer. Staff is friendly but there could be some improvements since some staffmembers are slow. Bathrooms should be renovated, they are 7 years old and need renovation. Housekeeping is not good enough, they forget cleaning our room a few times (4) during our stay. We complained but the issue was not solved and you get really upset when returning to your room at 4.30 am and they didn’t take care of your room. The rooms are spacious and silent. No noise from neighbours or elevators. Poolarea needs some extra attention like umbrella ‘s and music and fridge with drinks to take as selfservice. We would stay again.
