Très joli hôtel d’une propriété irréprochable. Le personnel est excessivement gentil et a su nous accommoder avec plaisir. La terrasse sur le toit permet un moment de tranquillité avec une belle vue après une journée de visite. La chambre est spacieuse et la localisation est parfaite pour visite la Candaleria à pied.

La Casa Deco est idéalement située dans le quartier Candelaria. Accueil professionnel et chaleureux à la fois, bons conseils de visites et de lieux de restauration après une arrivée nocturne tardive. Chambres confortables, bien équipées et insonorisées.

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer sind groß, dass Bett ist bequem. Leider ist der Frühstücksraum zu klein. Ich musste einmal später wieder kommen und am Abreisetag ging gar nichts. Man hat mir aber ein Lunchpaket angeboten. Nur war leider auch kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen bei so vielen Leuten vorhanden. Ich musste zweimal kalt duschen. Die Umgebung ist jedoch schön. Viele Restaurants und Cafés. Es gibt viel zu sehen.

Excellent Hotel
The Hotel Casa Deco has a great location, within easy walking distance from the major sights, restaurants, and museums, and only a block away from the exciting "Chorro" plaza. Our room, although right above the street, was relatively quiet due to the sound-proof windows. The only (minor) complaint was that breakfasts were rather simple, consisting of cooked-to-order pancakes, egg, or omelette, plus fruit, bread, and coffee.

Great little hotel in the heart of ala Candelaria with a lot of character. Very walkable and near most of the big sights. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great room in a great location at a very good price but the real story here is the exceptional staff. After a welcome tea that we loved ran out they brought a pot to our room. When we requested they call a taxi for us at 530a (to the airport) they offered a bag breakfast on the house.

Decent hotel, tough area
The hotel itself was fine. Breakfast was good, but the same few options every day. The pillows were ROCK HARD. As was the bed. Tough if you're a side-sleeper like I am. The area of La Candelaria wasn't that great, despite every travel guide saying it was where most tourists went. Zona Rosa/Zona T is a way better neighborhood and a lot cleaner and safer, with more to do.

Special hotel, special staff
Nice, boutiqueish hotel. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and a character leading breakfast. Leading is the correct word as there is no buffet, and you get the food and beverage only in the order she orders. Consider it a show. We had the suite on the top-floor which was great except that the public balcony is right next to it and people sit there drinking late which does not fit well with jet lag. Despite the glitchy, worth the money.

Overall great stay.
Really enjoyed the hotel. Great location. Breakfast with live classical guitar player. Greeted with cups of delicious tea. Staff very helpful. Only negative was morning we were leaving bed was stripped and all towels taken before we had checked out, our bags still in the room.

This is a terrific hotel in La Candelaria.Convenient to restaurants, shops and bars. The hotel is a great old place with interior upgrades. The staff is excellent. there are English speakers and all are very welcoming and helpful. we had a terrace room on the top floor. the room was beautiful and the view from the terrace was lovely. Two drawbacks: there is no elevator. Staff will take your bags up and down, which is great, but you will climb at least one flight of stairs to get to your room. A least on the top floor there is no central heating, so you rely on a portable electric heater which works fine but you need to warm the room for a while to get comfortable. This is a terrific hotel, though. I would stay here again.

Tolles Hotel in fantastischer Lage

Great central location – delicious breakfasts
POSITIVE- ---The crown of this hotel is its location - it’s within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions ---Very helpful English speaking Front Desk staff. They were helpful in giving a tourist map and pointing out the places to see within walking distance ---Incredible roof deck ---Wi-Fi was very good ---Plentiful hot water. No problem with water pressure ---Daily housekeeping service ---Breakfast was very good. The Breakfast Room was beautiful with a working fireplace. There is made-to-order eggs and pancakes, croissants with butter/jam, fresh fruit dish, fresh juice, coffee, etc. No sugar free sweetener is offered, however. ---Lots of local amenities - a ramen restaurant 20’ from the hotel, multiple pizza places less than a block away, a bodega a half block away, and 6-12 restaurants within a block ---For security reasons, there is no door handle on the front door to the hotel, so everyone needs to be let in by the front desk person NEGATIVE - ---The room was not heated for a local hotel (which is standard in Columbia). I asked for an electric room heater which helped. The heavy blanket on the bed was nice but not enough. ---No live TV channels - there’s a TV, and it’s hooked up to a streaming devise, but not to cable TV. NOT POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE- ---There is no elevator to this three-story hotel. The stairwell is actually a piece of art it’s so beautifully done. That being said, some would not like to walk up-and-down the stairs all the time

Wonderful! The staff was excellent! Best aromatic tea in town! Best breakfast too. People who work at the desk are very helpful and speak good English. They know the town and restaurants very well. Would recommend and go back any time.

Situado em pleno coração da Candelaria, a localização é excelente e é possível visitar muitos locais a pé. O quarto tem muito espaço. O pequeno almoço era saboroso e com musica ao vivo, mas limitado (não tem a opção de self-service). Mas nada que prejudicou o excelente estadia que tivemos. O atendimento da equipa do hotel foi muito boa e o espaço é muito bonito por dentro (antiga casa histórica).

Great central hotel, nice staff, big rooms
Lovely bedroom, great shower with lots of hot water; central location easy to walk to sights & restaurants; very helpful receptionists; secure (doorman 24/7). Only downside was idiosyncratic breakfast - no menu, brusque waitress, poor coffee, no bread selection or toast. Go out for breakfast!! Great rooftop space for stargazing.

Hôtel bien situé dans le quartier de la Candeleria. Proche de tous les restaurants. Accueil sympathique, personnel chaleureux. Chambre confortable et propre. Jolie terrasse sur le toit.

It is in an interesting part of Bogota. Lots of history. It can be very noisy, squeaky wooden floors, street noise. Very simple breakfast.

Perfect place to stay in Candelaria
A delightful stay in a great hotel. Superb location, one can walk anywhere from there, hotel very clean and very tastefully decorated. Added bonus is a beautiful terrace on 4th floor with great views. Only marred by people using it as a smoking terrace!
