“The Rocky Mount Motel was an unexpected surprise. It was chic and thoughtfully renovated with a big city aesthetic without a big city price. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.”

“The room was clean ice machine right off the elevator. The breakfast was excellent and the parking lot well lit. In a nice area with plenty of of dining choices within 10 minutes of driving.”

“Unfortunately, I hate to say it, but this was hands-down the worst hotel experience I’ve had. And I’ve traveled to a lot of developing countries so that’s saying a lot. The staff were perfectly pleasant, but the place is incredibly rundown and grotty. The wallpaper was peeling, carpet head holes throughout, the air-conditioning unit was broken and dangling off the wall. We felt like we needed to sleep with our clothes still on. Really gross. I should’ve known better. Anything with “quality” in...
