“Wanted to take the family out for their last weekend before school started back up and this was exactly what the family needed! The host was extremely accommodating and responded quickly on any questions we had. We brought a 22’ wakeboat and was nervous about the water being so low but we managed to unload and load it using the private boat ramp! It is steep so 4 wheel drive is definitely required but thankfully we were able to do it all without having to go to a marina. The private dock was...

“We all enjoyed the great swimming pool and the kids all caught fish in the pond. The house was extremely well-furnished, especially with toys and games for the children. The layout of the house with the game/tv room a wing of its own meant the adults could talk or nap without the kids’ noise bothering us. We played badminton and went on the nature trail. I appreciated that, although surrounded by many acres of woods and fields, we also were only three minutes away from Giant Foods. All in...

“We loved everything about this charming house. Communication with the host was awesome. Every detail for your stay is thought out. We stayed for the July 4th weekend while in town visiting family and the 4th of July fireworks show at the nearby Franklin Park was great! A true gem and I’m so glad I found this home for our stay.”

“We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...

“Our family enjoyed the stay in this house offering a clean pool to swim in, access to fishing and kayaking all surrounded by peaceful and beautiful nature. Kids loved farm animals around the house! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean! Thank you Angelique!”

“We stayed here for a wedding at a nearby vineyard. It was very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Our host were lovely and communicative. We would highly recommend staying here.”

“Great location. Clean. Enjoyed our stay.”

“We stayed here for a nearby wedding. We had a relaxing afternoon before the wand plenty of room for the 8 of us to sleep comfortably. The kitchen has everything we needed for a family brunch the next morning.”

“The house was charming and was a great fit for 5 adults and 3 kids. Great location for us, just a mile from my sister’s house. Convenient to I-95 to get to other local destinations. Nota, the property manager, was very prompt in responding to minor needs. The kids loved the board and other games that came with the house. A third bathroom is being added which will make the house more convenient for future large groups.”

“Fantastic property in a beautiful part of the state.”

“Gorgeous farmhouse with all the comforts of home!”

“Second time staying as just as good as our first! Only thing we wished was for a pool since the heat index was 105! Will be back again!”

“While we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, massage room or sauna, they looked well kept and inviting. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Also beautiful views outside. I have no complaints and recommend this place to anyone in the area.”

“We were pleasantly surprised with this stay! Our weekend was wonderful from everything from the thoughtful snacks to the cleanliness of the house. The house felt very inviting- including the comfortable mattresses (- easily the most unrated but vital parts of a stay)! My children kept asking when we were coming back as they took full advantage of the hot tub, pool, baseball being played in the yard, and views of the cows. Thank you for being such gracious hosts! We love what you have done with...

“Our stay at Belle Meade was perfect! It was a beautiful farm property with hidden gems and the sweetest animals! Pam and George were absolutely wonderful and we loved chatting and getting to know them- just the sweetest people! The house was so cute and extremely clean! We loved everything about our stay! My family and I would stay there again! Thank you Pam and George!”

“Best place we have stayed for our annual wine weekend. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Location was great for local wineries and breweries. We had a great time and accommodations were perfect.”
