Case in affitto a Alexandria

“Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC...

“Very nice property conveniently located for visiting Mount Vernon, DC, and Old Town Alexandria.”

“Love love love this place! It is perfectly situated for Old Town Alexandria and a trip to Washington DC.. We went walking every night through the streets, even though it was the hottest time of the year. We got up and went and had coffee every morning at a different place. The shopping and food was amazing. I lived in old town over 25 years ago and love it more today than I did then. When I travel back here, I will stay at one of these properties run by the same group. The home was absolutely...

“The townhouse was perfect for our family trip to DC for my niece’s wedding. The off-street parking was very helpful. The host was very helpful about reaching out to make sure our stay was comfortable.”

“This is a charming home in a great location in Alexandria, near the metro, a Whole Foods and Old Town. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with supplies like coffee, oils for cooking, and napkins. We also enjoyed having coffee on the back patio in the morning. Maggie is a responsive and helpful host, she also sent me something I left behind during our stay. The master shower has a very nice rainfall shower head and has a low ceiling for those who are a bit taller. The air...

“Very well appointed we had everything we needed and more! Lovely location. Would recommend this place to others.”

“The property was as advertised, very clean, beds were comfortable. The host had great communication. The location is great, walking distance from the metro station and King St. We had a very enjoyable weeks stay!”

“The location was excellent — very convenient for walking to restaurants, shops, and everything Old Town has to offer. The property itself was comfortable and a great home base for exploring the area. The main downside was the noise. The bed room facing the busy street was quite loud, especially at night and early in the morning , and it made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. The bedroom on the back of the house is much quieter but since we were a...

“Centrally located near shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed. Lovely renovated historic carriage house. The old cobblestone floors are a very nice touch..”

“The property is nice and updated, looks just like the pictures. The backyard is a great retreat! The 2 private parking spaces made it comfortable to come and go. The beds are comfortable and plenty of towels and convenience items (shampoo, trash bags, etc). The hosts were accessible during the stay, but we didn’t need them. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay near DC, this place in a nice quiet neighborhood is a perfect choice.”

“We had an incredible time! The house was absolutely stunning and provided everything we needed, and even more. I highly recommend this property and the fantastic host.”

“Nice house in a great location. Very clean and has all the amenities you need. Perfect for a business trip or a visit. Had a small issue with check in but they were quick to respond and address the issue.”

“This was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Arlington/DC area. Checking in/out was a breeze! Comfortable beds, great shower pressure! Our host was easy to reach and very responsive, we enjoyed our stay!”

“This townhouse is lovely and walkable to the shops and restaurants of Old Town Alexandria and the metro stops. The two parking spots behind the townhouse are most helpful. The host is super responsive and helpful with suggestions. ”

“Great location for us to use as a base camp to go explore Alexandria and DC. It was an easy walk to the metro station, the Potomac and grocery stores. We’d stay there again if we head back to the area. Thanks for having us.”

“Lots of room with this space. Very nice and convenient”

“Clean room, host is easy to communicate with, spacious rooms, AC is working properly, beddings are clean. The only thing that I think would make a guest stay more comfortably is if a sink would be at the dining/kitchen near the fridge and cooking area rather than going thru the bedroom all the way to the bathroom to wash dishes and utensils. A kitchen knife would also be a practical addition to the utensils. Also, the other bedroom is only accessed thru the shared bathroom and if locked by the...

“The host is a great communicator. We had no issues but did ask a few questions and they were very prompt to answer. The property is in a great location- very easy to walk in old town or drive to local spots easily. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking, and the home is outfitted well. We would stay here again!”
