“No issues with the host or booking. The place was poorly stocked, not kid friendly, no games or anything, steep stairs (bunkbeds typically implies the place is kid friendly), really old and uncomfortable furniture without enough seating in very tight main areas. The bathroom had no soaps for the shower so we had to go out and buy it. They only give you 2 pods for the dishwasher and 2 garbage bags so it was hard to do cleaning throughout our stay. When you pay as much as we did, you expect more....

“Hummingbird Hill is beautiful!!! Great place that matched the photos and description perfectly. You will be impressed as soon as you arrive in the area as it is situated in a gated, very nice community where you will feel very safe. It had everything you could need, including fully stocked dishes and cooking supplies…television in every room and WiFi is awesome even if you are in the mountains. It’s in the middle of everything so Asheville, Lake Lure and even Banner Elk are drivable. But...

“This cabin is in a perfect location, with stunning a long views and an outdoor hot tub. The pros include wide open floor plan, great shower, plenty of linens and easy to use entertainment. The cons are the whole place feels a little bit shabby, with all the woodwork caulked but not finished, lots of stinkbugs inside, and poorly equipped, mis-matched kitchen gear.
