Perfect Location with Charm

Very clean & Stocked with all the essentials
This is by far the cleanest property we have stayed in. They have thought of all the details and have the kitchen well stocked. The neighborhood is great! The stairs to the loft are tricky to navigate, so just be aware of that if you have small children or others in your group that may have trouble with stairs. It is a very nice, clean and well decorated place.

Whittier guesthouse
Lovely, well appointed property in a cute neighborhood. Hosts are very helpful- great if you need them, will give you privacy if you prefer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this rental.

This is a very special property. It’s been beautifully renovated and furnished and the owners have thought about all the details when stocking up on the things one might need. The location was great and just minutes to drive to Pearl Street and tons of shopping. We even walked to Pearl Street one day and it was a lovely walk. For our personal preferences, the beds could have been softer. And the water takes a few minutes to heat up. But otherwise this place is perfect and we would eagerly stay here again.

Beautiful space
Stayed 3 days, primarily as a home base for some hiking trips, and this place was awesome. Very close to shops and stores for supplies. Would absolutely recommend!

Boulder 2023
Absolutely loved our stay. Boulder is a wonderful town within close proximity to mountain hiking and modern city living. Our host house was in a great family neighborhood with access to everything we needed. Clean, simple. Wonderful.

What a location!
We discovered that our accommodations were perfectly located. Shopping and restaurants were clustered around us. We could walk everyplace. We loved relaxing on our front porch. We had just enough indoor space (and no problems with the upstairs bedroom.) Since we stayed a full month, we would have liked cleaning support offered.

Highly Recommend!
It felt like staying in a high-end hotel...super clean, very well appointed, and everything seemed like it was brand new. Close to downtown Boulder. I highly recommend it! The second bedroom is a loft with stairs that may be tricky for an older adult or a small child.

*Lovely* little place with a tricky loft - great for a couple or single guest
Beautiful little place, very clean and well-appointed. Friendly, pretty and very walkable neighborhood. Everything was great, except for getting into and out of the loft space. The stairs are very tricky to navigate. Extremely hard to get a suitcase or duffle upstairs safely. Would also be a danger for children or anyone with even minor mobility, coordination or balance issues.

Impeccably maintained gem!
My 25-year old daughter and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely coach house. The owner was very accommodating and kind about a change in our stay dates that came up, which was deeply appreciated. The house itself is better and more thoughtfully stocked with little comforts than just about every other VRBO I’ve rented…and I’ve had some very positive experiences elsewhere, too, so that is saying a lot! Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom and plenty of room to lounge in the living space. Plus washer dryer, a fully stocked kitchen and a nice-sized bathroom with plenty of high quality towels. Everything was super clean and perfectly arranged. Kudos to the owners - they obviously take a lot of pride in what they are doing. We hope to return!

Fantastic stay in Boulder!
Charming guesthouse, comfortable, great location, nice amenities. Walking distance to Pearl St. Mall and easy access to all that Boulder has to offer. A bit of agility needed to access the loft bedroom area, but we had no trouble. Paula was wonderful to work with—very responsive to my questions and clearly cares about providing a great experience for her guests. Highly recommended!

The Wilsons
So glad we went with this property. Miss Paula was wonderful to work with and so helpful before we even arrived in Boulder. The property was in a great location- close to everything- and so comfortable to relax in after a day of hiking or walking around seeing the sites. Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay!
Overall my wife and I had a great experience at this location. It’s really close to downtown Boulder walking distance probably maybe a half mile. Parking on the street was great. The guest house may not be great for multiple families but for two adults and two kids it has ample space and a fun little loft for kids. Some of mentions the loft area is tough to get to you in a little bit dangerous for kids which is pretty true but I would imagine anybody above 8 would be fine with it. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a nicely appointed place with laundry!

Thoughtful and helpful hosts; great location, great updates. Wife and I should have brought our travel pillows but that is only a personal preference. Shampoo and provided soaps were great smelling and cleaned us well. Absolutely considering staying again. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely property
As an owner of a property management company with 200+ units for rent, I am pretty particular and tend to be critical of rental houses. This cottage was perfect in every way. Super clean, well stocked, instructions for amenities were very clear, owner was responsive. Rent with confidence is my suggestion. Loved it!

Perfect Boulder stay
Our stay here was perfect. The house itself was beautiful and cozy and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Good coffee, food and shopping were all within walking distance and great hikes were only minutes away in the car. We're already planning our next visit.

Perfect guest house for two!
We booked Paula’s guest house for five nights in Oct 2021 while attending our son’s wedding. It is a beautifully renovated guest house on the same property as their home, and everything is new, immaculately clean, and well stocked and maintained. Perfect for two adults, and we made it work for four—our 30+ daughter and husband shared the upper loft. Note: Access to the loft is via a very unique and steep “alternating stairway” which was pretty intimidating and NOT appropriate for children or elderly/unsteady adults. The location was perfect for everything Boulder has to offer, and in addition to our family’s wedding events we enjoyed restaurants, shopping, and outdoor hiking adventures just a short drive away. And when we needed relax time with a morning cup of coffee, or a yummy glass of wine, the front porch was spot on! Will definitely use again…highly recommend!

Beautifully appointed guest house in a delightful neighboor. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, nice linens, luxury bathroom; everything we needed. Conveniently located too. Such a pleasant experience!
I found the property to be one of the cleanest in my short term rental experience. Needless to say I was duly impressed. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with good quality utensils, ample silverware, and well functioning appliances. As for the bath and bedrooms, there is a good supply of linens; the beds are most comfortable. The apartment decor is very well done. It is similar to the Scandinavian hygge (cozy) style so prevalent these days. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a step above.

Boulder Gem
This was the perfect location for a girls trip to Boulder. The three of us comfortably stayed without a car. We easily took a GreenRide Shuttle from the airport and walked or Bcycled to most places of interest. Cleanliness is a priority here and the decor was beautiful and modern, as pictured. We conveniently had food and alcohol delivered. We were comfortable, note the twin beds in the loft are firm. We highly recommend staying here!

We can’t recommend highly enough this beautifully constructed and stylishly designed cottage. Impeccably appointed with comfortable bed, lovely kitchen and sleek bathroom. Washer and dryer and great TVs. On pretty and quiet street that is super convenient and well located. Walk to Whole Foods and Art Center and restaurants. Owners couldn’t have made it easier and are super responsive. Wonderful find!!!

Wonderful retreat.
Loved the location, the front porch was an amazing place to relax in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine. The place was immaculate, modern and well appointed. Jim was a very nice host and we enjoyed talking with him. My only concern was the stairs to the loft bedroom. Very interesting for kids and most adults, steep and very narrow. The ceiling was also very low. I would say this is more of a one bedroom accommodation. That being known, we would certainly come back.

Best home in Boulder
From the pictures and description on VRBO we were looking forward to stay at Paula's while visiting family and friends in Boulder. Our expectations were far exceeded. The cottage is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with easy access to natural grocery stores and shops. The place was so inviting we felt at home from the moment we opened the front door. Comfortable bed and great shower, soft big towels, well appointed kitchen, homey chairs on the front porch. It was 15 minutes to my sister in Devils Thumb, and 5 minutes to Pearl Street. And the drive to stunning hiking and views was 20 minutes away. All things that were important to us. We will most definitely stay there again every time we go to Boulder which is several times a year. I could not imagine staying anyplace else. Thank you Paula!!!

Perfect, comfortable and close to everything!
This wonderful place was the perfect spot for us while visiting our family in Boulder. The luxe, private, serene description is spot on. The open floor plan was efficient, modern, with all amenities to make us feel right at home. Tastefully decorated and comfortable with attention to detail down to the appliances, kitchen equipment, Keurig with coffee pods, towels and bedding. I can’t say enough about this place, one of the best places we have ever rented!

Mapleton Modern is an immaculate property with every detail thought out!
Paula is the ideal host. Every detail is planned out, down to the basket for hats and mittens under the coat hangers and K cups for the Kuerig. The linens, towels, mattresses and facilities are of the highest quality. It is a perfect, cozy and conveniently-located house!! We look forward to booking it again!

I can’t say enough how much my old college roommates and I enjoyed our stay! Paula was an amazing hostess and was always available if we needed her! The house was in a perfect location! We walked to Pearl Street everyday. We hiked and rented bikes. It was the perfect Colorado vacation in the coolest, cleanest VRBO I have ever seen! We are already planning our trip back.
